A Match Recording is the full video capture of a completed live stream, stored in LIGR Live so you can review, share, and generate content from it after the match ends.
Overview
Every time you run a live stream through LIGR Live, the platform captures the output as a Match Recording. These recordings are saved to your organisation's content library and become the source material for Highlights, Moments, and Compilations.
You'll find Match Recordings in the Multimedia tab in the left sidebar, alongside Highlights, Compilations, Images, and Videos.

What a Match Recording Includes
A Match Recording is a complete capture of everything that went out on your stream, including:
• The full match video from your Input source
• Any Overlays, Scorebugs, and Graphics that were triggered during the match
• Sponsor Loops and ad graphics that played during the broadcast
• The full duration of the stream from start to stop
How Match Recordings Are Created
Match Recordings are generated automatically. You don't need to manually start or stop a recording separately from your stream.
1. Create a Match under a Competition in the Matches section.
2. Configure your Input and Destination in the match's streaming settings.
3. Start the stream from the Control Room.
4. End the stream when the match is complete.
5. The Match Recording will appear in the Multimedia tab once processing is finished.

• Create Moments by tagging key points in the recording
• Generate Highlights from tagged Moments or Match Facts

Tips
• Match Recordings rely on your stream running successfully through LIGR Live. If the stream didn't start, there will be no recording.
• For the best Highlights output, make sure your Live Scorer is capturing Match Facts in the LiveScore App during the match. These events help power automated Highlight generation.
• Processing time depends on match length. Longer matches may take a few minutes to appear in the Multimedia tab after the stream ends.
• Check the Review Page for a match to see events alongside the recording.
Common Issues
The Match Recording isn't appearing after the stream ended. Wait a few minutes for processing to complete. If it still doesn't appear, check that the stream actually ran through LIGR Live and wasn't sent directly from your encoder to a Destination.
The recording is shorter than expected. This usually means the stream stopped or disconnected mid-match. Check your encoder connection and Input status next time.
Overlays aren't visible in the recording. Confirm that overlays were triggered during the live match via the Control Room. If graphics were only sent via NDI to an external production tool, they won't be burnt into the LIGR Match Recording.
I can't download the recording. Check your user role. Media Viewer, User, Admin, and Owner roles have access, but some restrictions may apply based on your organisation's plan.
