Updating player squad numbers in LIGR Live ensures the correct jersey number appears next to each player in your broadcast graphics, lineups, and Match Facts during live matches.
Why Squad Numbers Matter
Squad numbers are pulled directly from a player's profile in the Assets tab and used across the platform, including:
• Lineup graphics and team sheets
• Goal, card, and substitution overlays triggered from the LiveScore App
• Player stats overlays built in FUSE
• Match Centre and Review Page event listings
Keeping squad numbers accurate avoids incorrect graphics during a live broadcast.
Prerequisites
Before updating squad numbers, make sure you have:
• An Owner, Admin, or User role with access to the Assets tab
• The player already created under the correct Club and Team
• The new squad number confirmed by the club or team manager

Tips
• Update squad numbers before creating matches for the season so lineups display correctly from the first fixture.
• If a player moves between Clubs or Teams, check their squad number after the move — it may need to be reassigned.
• For tournaments where a player wears a different number than their club number, confirm which number should be stored on the player profile.
• If you use FUSE graphics that display squad numbers via player variables, the updated number will pull through automatically once saved.
Common Issues
The old squad number still appears in graphics during a live match. Graphics already loaded into the Control Room may cache player data. Refresh the Control Room or reload the overlay to pull the latest player information.
Two players have the same squad number. LIGR Live uses the number stored on each player profile as-is. Check the team roster and update one of the duplicates to avoid confusion in lineup overlays.
Squad number field is missing or greyed out. Confirm your user role has permission to edit Assets. Live Scorers, Media Viewers, and Gameday Operators may have limited edit access.
Updated squad number isn't showing on the LiveScore App. The Live Scorer may need to refresh the match in the LiveScore App so the latest player data loads.
