Adding players to a Team in LIGR Live ensures that your lineups, player stats, and player-based graphics display correctly during a Match.

Before You Start

Before adding players, make sure you have:

• Created the Club that the Team belongs to

• Created the Team you want to add players to

• Admin or Owner permissions on your Organisation (or the appropriate Club Admin role if working in the Club Portal)

Adding Players from the Team Page

Players are managed at the Team level, so you'll need to open the Team first.

1. From the main menu, go to Assets and select Teams.

2. Find the Team you want to update and click into it.

3. Open the Players tab within the Team.

4. Click Add Player.

5. Fill in the player details (such as name, jersey number, and position).

6. Save the player to add them to the Team roster.

Repeat these steps for each player you want to add.

Player Details You Can Add

When creating or editing a player, you can typically include:

• First name and last name

• Jersey number

• Position

• Date of birth

• Player photo or headshot

• Additional metadata used by graphics (such as height or nationality, where supported)

The more complete your player data, the richer your lineup cards, player lower thirds, and other player-based graphics will look.

Editing or Removing Players

You can update a player's details or remove them from the Team at any time.

1. Open the Team and go to the Players tab.

2. Click the player you want to update.

3. Edit any details and save, or use the remove option to take them off the roster.

Using Players in a Match

Once players are on a Team, they become available when you build lineups for a Match.

• Players can be selected into starting lineups and substitutes for each Match.

• Match Facts recorded in the LiveScore App (such as goals, cards, and substitutions) will attribute to the correct player.

• Graphics that use player data — including lineup cards and player lower thirds — will automatically pull from the Team roster.

Tips

• Add player photos wherever possible — many graphic templates use them by default.

• Keep jersey numbers up to date before each Match, especially if a player has changed numbers for the season.

• If the same player moves between Teams within a Club, update the roster on each Team rather than duplicating player records unnecessarily.

• Club Admins can manage their own Team rosters from the Club Portal, which is useful when delegating roster upkeep to clubs.

Common Issues

A player isn't appearing in the lineup selector for a Match Confirm the player is added to the correct Team and that the Team is assigned to the Match.

Player photo isn't showing on graphics Check that a photo has been uploaded on the player's profile and that the graphic template is configured to display player images.

Wrong jersey number on a graphic Open the player's profile on the Team and update the jersey number, then refresh the Control Room.

Duplicate players on the roster Remove the duplicate entry from the Players tab. Make sure scorers in the LiveScore App are selecting the correct player when recording Match Facts.
