Assigning Players to a Team in LIGR Live populates your Team rosters so that player names, numbers, and data flow automatically into match lineups, overlays, and graphics during live broadcasts.
Before You Start
Before you can assign Players to a Team, make sure you have the following in place:
• A Club created in the Assets section
• A Team created under that Club
• Players created as Assets in your Organisation
If you haven't set these up yet, you'll need to create them first in the Assets tab.

Adding Multiple Players at Once
If you have a full squad to add, you can typically select multiple Players in the same action rather than adding them one at a time. This is useful when setting up a new Team at the start of a season.
Editing a Player's Details on a Team
Once a Player is assigned to a Team, you may need to adjust details such as their shirt number or position so they display correctly in match lineups and overlays.
1. Open the Team from the Assets tab.
2. Locate the Player in the roster.
3. Edit the Player's Team-specific details (such as jersey number).
4. Save your changes.

Removing a Player from a Team
If a Player leaves a Team or was added by mistake, you can remove them from the roster without deleting the Player Asset itself.
1. Open the Team in the Assets tab.
2. Find the Player in the roster.
3. Select the remove option next to the Player.
4. Confirm the removal.
The Player will remain in your Organisation's Player Assets and can be added to another Team if needed.
Tips
• Set up your full squad before creating Matches so lineups are ready to go in the Control Room.
• Keep shirt numbers accurate — these appear directly on graphics like lineup cards and Scorebugs.
• If you use Player images in FUSE graphics, make sure each Player has an image URL configured so player photo overlays display correctly during broadcasts.
• Review your Team rosters at the start of each season or Competition to remove Players who have moved on.
Common Issues
• A Player doesn't appear in the list when adding to a Team: Make sure the Player has been created as an Asset in your Organisation first.
• Player data isn't showing in graphics during a Match: Confirm the Player is assigned to the correct Team and included in the Match lineup via the LiveScore App or Match setup.
• Duplicate Players on a Team: Check your Player Assets for duplicates and remove any extras to keep rosters clean.
• Shirt numbers not updating on overlays: Ensure you saved the Player's Team details after editing, and refresh the Control Room if a Match is already live.
