How to Upload Player Images

Uploading player images in LIGR Live lets you attach a photo to each player in your roster, so their face can appear in overlays such as lineups, player stats cards, and other graphics during a live match.

Before You Start

Player images are managed as part of the Players asset under the Assets tab. Before uploading, make sure you have:

• Access to your Organisation with permission to edit Assets (Owner, Admin, or User role)

• The Club and Team the player belongs to already created

• A player photo ready on your computer (ideally a square image, as many graphics use a 300×300 format)

Once uploaded, the image is stored against that player and becomes available to any graphic that pulls player image data.

Uploading Images for Multiple Players

If you need to add images for an entire team roster, work through each player profile one at a time under the Players section. Make sure each player is assigned to the correct Club and Team so the image appears in the right place during a match.

How Player Images Appear in Graphics

Player images are pulled into overlays through FUSE graphics that have been set up to display them. This usually involves:

• A Rive file with exposed image slots for player photos

• Image Templates configured for player images (commonly 300×300)

• A competition Theme Instance that links player image data to the graphic

If your Themes are already set up to display player images, new uploads will flow through automatically the next time that graphic is triggered in the Control Room.

Tips

• Use square images where possible, as most player image slots are designed around a square crop.

• Keep image file sizes reasonable to avoid slow loading during live broadcasts.

• Use consistent photo styles across a team (same background, framing, and lighting) for a professional on-screen look.

• Update player images at the start of each season or when new players join a Team, so rosters stay current.

Common Issues

The player image isn't showing up in the graphic during a match Check that the player is assigned to the correct Team and that the Team is part of the match. Also confirm the Theme Instance for the Competition has player images enabled.

The image looks stretched or cropped badly The image slot in the graphic is likely expecting a square format. Re-upload a square version of the photo.

I uploaded a new image but the old one is still appearing Refresh the Control Room or re-trigger the graphic. If the issue continues, confirm the upload saved correctly on the player profile.
