Editing player details in LIGR Live lets you keep roster information accurate so it displays correctly in your match graphics, overlays, and player stats.
Before You Start
Make sure you have:
• Access to your LIGR Live organisation with permission to manage Assets
• At least one Club and Team already created
• The player you want to edit added to a team roster

Players live under the Assets tab and are linked to the Team they belong to.
1. In the left sidebar, click Assets.
2. Open the Players section.
3. Use the search or filter options to find the player you want to edit.
4. Click the player's name to open their details page.

Updating the Player Image
Player images are used by FUSE graphics and image templates that display roster photos during broadcasts.
1. In the player details, locate the player image field.
2. Upload a new image or paste an image URL.
3. Save your changes.
The updated image will be pulled into any graphic that references the player through FUSE or a linked image template.
Reassigning a Player to Another Team
If a player moves between teams within your Club structure:
1. Open the player's details page.
2. Change the assigned Team field to the new team.
3. Save your changes.
The player will then appear in the new team's roster and be available for selection in matches involving that team.
Tips
• Keep jersey numbers up to date before each match — many Scorebugs and lower-third overlays pull this data automatically.
• If you use player stats in FUSE, edits to player names and teams flow through to any graphic using player.data expressions.
• For players whose images need a specific format, aim for a square crop (such as 300×300) to match standard player image templates.
• Check the Activity page if you need to confirm when a player's details were last changed or by whom.
Common Issues
• Changes aren't showing in the Control Room: Refresh the Control Room or reload the match. Graphics cache player data at load time.
• Player image not displaying: Confirm the image URL is publicly accessible and that the competition theme has player image templates configured.
• Player not appearing in a match lineup: Make sure the player is assigned to the correct Team and that the team is selected for the match.
• Can't edit a player: Your user role may not have Asset management permissions. Check with your Owner or Admin.
