Managing player statistics in LIGR Live lets you maintain accurate, up-to-date performance data for each player on your team rosters, which then flows into your broadcast graphics, match overlays, and FUSE player stats displays.
Overview
Player statistics are stored against each Player asset in your Organisation. Once populated, this data can be pulled into graphics through FUSE using player variables and player.data expressions, displayed in lineup cards, player stat overlays, and other match graphics during live broadcasts.
This guide covers:
• Where player statistics live within the Assets tab
• How to view and update statistics for a Player
• How player stats connect to your graphics and overlays
Prerequisites
Before managing player statistics, make sure you have:
• An Organisation set up in LIGR Live
• At least one Club and Team created under Assets
• Players added to a Team roster
• Appropriate permissions (Owner, Admin, or User role)
Accessing Players in Assets
Players are managed within the Assets tab, which is the foundation for all organisational data in LIGR Live.
1. From the left sidebar, click the Assets tab.
2. Select the Players section.
3. Use the search or filter options to locate the Player you want to update.

Viewing a Player's Statistics
Each Player has their own profile where their details and statistics are stored.
1. Click on a Player from the list to open their profile.
2. Review the player's details, including name, team assignment, and any image assets attached.
3. Locate the statistics fields on the Player profile.

Updating Player Statistics
Player statistics can be updated directly on the Player profile so that the most current data appears in your live graphics.
1. Open the Player profile from the Players list.
2. Edit the relevant statistic fields (for example, goals, tackles, or shots depending on your sport).
3. Save your changes.
4. Repeat for any other Players on the roster who need updates.
Statistics updated here will be available to any Graphic or FUSE template referencing that Player via player.data expressions.
Connecting Statistics to Graphics
Once player statistics are stored on the Player asset, they can be displayed in broadcast graphics through FUSE.
• Use Player Control Variables in FUSE to select which Player to display.
• Use player.data expressions to access stored fields such as name, team, and statistics.
• Bind these expressions to text or image inputs in your Rive-based graphics.
• Publish the graphic and trigger it through the Control Room during a Match.
For full setup instructions, see the FUSE player variable articles listed below.

Statistics During Live Matches
During a live Match, certain statistics are generated automatically through Match Facts captured in the LiveScore App.
• Events such as goals, cards, corners, and substitutions are recorded as Match Facts.
• These Match Facts can feed live statistics into graphics during the broadcast.
• The level of data tracked depends on the Data Coverage setting for the Match.
To keep historical or season-level stats accurate, update the Player profile directly in the Assets tab.
Tips
• Keep player rosters up to date before each Match so your graphics pull the correct data.
• If you use player image templates (300×300), confirm that each Player has an image URL configured alongside their statistics.
• When building FUSE graphics, always handle missing data gracefully so overlays still display cleanly if a stat field is empty.
• Use the Activity page to track when Player records were last modified and by whom.
Common Issues
Statistics not appearing in graphics Check that your FUSE graphic uses the correct player.data expression and that the Player is selected through a Player Control Variable.
Player not showing in Team lineup Confirm the Player is assigned to the correct Team under Assets and that the Team is assigned to the Match.
Live stats not updating Ensure the Match has an active Live Scorer using the LiveScore App, and that the Data Coverage level for the Match supports the statistics you want to display.
Player image not displaying Verify the Player has a valid image URL set and that the competition Theme Instance includes the correct player image template.
