Archiving a Team in LIGR Live removes it from your active Teams list while preserving its historical data, so past matches and records remain intact.
When to Archive a Team
Archiving is useful when a Team is no longer active in any current Competition but you want to keep its history available in your Organisation. Unlike deleting, archiving is reversible and non-destructive.
Common reasons to archive a Team:
• The Team has been disbanded or merged with another Team
• The Team is no longer participating in upcoming Competitions
• You want to tidy your active Teams list without losing past match data
• A Club has restructured its Teams for a new season
Before You Start
Make sure you have:
• Admin or Owner permissions on the Organisation, or the appropriate Club Admin access if the Team belongs to a Club Portal
• Confirmed the Team is not assigned to any upcoming Matches
• Checked that no active Automated Game Plans or Ad Set Allocations depend on the Team

Viewing Archived Teams
Archived Teams are still stored in your Organisation and can be viewed or restored later.
1. Go to Assets > Teams.
2. Switch the view filter to show Archived Teams.
3. Click any archived Team to view its details or restore it.

Restoring an Archived Team
If you need to bring a Team back into active use:
1. Open the archived Team from the filtered list.
2. Select Restore Team from the settings or actions menu.
3. The Team will return to your active Teams list and can be assigned to Matches and Competitions again.
Tips
• Archive Teams at the end of a season rather than deleting them, so historical Match data stays linked and accessible.
• If a Team belongs to a Club, check with your Club Admin before archiving to avoid disrupting Club-level reporting.
• Review any Ad Set Allocations tied to the Team before archiving, as allocations may need to be reassigned.
Common Issues
The Archive option is greyed out or unavailable The Team may still be assigned to an upcoming Match. Remove or reassign the Team from those Matches first, then try again.
Archived Team still appears in a Match Archiving does not remove a Team from Matches it has already been assigned to. Past and scheduled Matches will continue to reference the Team as expected.
Cannot find the archived Team Make sure you have switched your Teams list filter to show Archived Teams. Active filters only show currently in-use Teams.
Permission denied when archiving Only Admins, Owners, or Club Admins with sufficient permissions can archive Teams. Contact your Organisation Owner if you need access.
