How to Edit Club Details

Editing a Club in LIGR Live lets you keep its core information — such as name, logo, colours, and associated venue — accurate and up to date across every Match and Team linked to that Club.

Why Edit Club Details

Club details flow through to graphics, overlays, and public-facing pages like the Match Centre. Keeping them current ensures Teams within the Club appear correctly in scorebugs, lineups, and other graphics during a broadcast.

Common reasons to edit a Club include:

• Updating the Club logo or colours to match a rebrand

• Correcting a misspelled Club name

• Changing the home Venue

• Updating contact or reference information used across Teams

Prerequisites

Before you start, make sure:

• You are signed in to your Organisation with Admin or Owner permissions (or equivalent Club Portal permissions if editing from the Club Portal)

• The Club already exists in your Assets

• Any new logo files or Venue records you plan to use are ready

How to Edit a Club

Follow these steps to update an existing Club from the main LIGR Live interface.

Step 1: Open the Clubs section

1. From the left-hand navigation, go to Assets.

2. Select Clubs to view the list of all Clubs in your Organisation.

2. The Club will update across all linked Teams and Matches.

Editing a Club from the Club Portal

If you are a Club Admin or Club Super Admin, you can edit your Club from the Club Portal instead.

1. Log in to the Club Portal.

2. Open your Club's settings or profile area.

3. Update the available fields and click Save.

Note that the fields available in the Club Portal may be more limited than those available to Organisation Admins.

Tips

• Upload Club logos as high-resolution images with a transparent background so they look clean in overlays and scorebugs.

• Keep Club colours consistent with the Club's official branding — these colours are used by Themes and graphics throughout a broadcast.

• Assigning a home Venue to a Club saves time when creating Matches, as the Venue can be pre-filled.

• Changes to Club details apply immediately to future Matches. Existing Matches may need to be refreshed in the Control Room to reflect the update.

Common Issues

Changes not appearing in graphics: Refresh the Control Room or reload the Overlay to pull the latest Club data.

Cannot edit a Club: Check your permission level. Standard Users and Gameday Operators may not have edit access to Club Assets.

Logo looks incorrect in overlays: Make sure the logo is a supported image format and has enough padding around the artwork.

Venue not available in the dropdown: The Venue must first be created under Assets > Venues before it can be linked to a Club.
