Adding Club Logos and Colours

Adding logos and colours to your Clubs ensures that every graphic, scorebug, and overlay produced in LIGR Live reflects accurate team branding across all matches.

Why Club Logos and Colours Matter

Club logos and colours are pulled directly into your graphics during a match. When a Theme Instance renders a scorebug, lower third, or lineup card, it uses the logo and colour values stored against each Club. Getting these right once means every Team under that Club, and every Match they play, will display correctly without extra setup.

Prerequisites

Before you start, make sure:

• You have at least Admin or User permissions on the Organisation

• The Club already exists as an Asset in your account

• You have the club logo file ready (ideally a transparent PNG)

• You know the club's primary and secondary colours (hex codes are best)

Adding a Logo to a Club

1. From the main navigation, open the Assets section.

2. Select Clubs.

3. Find the Club you want to update and click into it.

4. Locate the Logo field on the Club details page.

5. Click to upload your logo file.

6. Save your changes.

Logo File Recommendations

• Use a transparent PNG so the logo sits cleanly over any graphic background

• Upload the highest resolution version you have — graphics will scale it down as needed

• Make sure the logo is cropped tightly with minimal padding around the edges

• Avoid logos with drop shadows or effects baked in, as these may clash with Theme styling

Adding Club Colours

Club colours drive the background fills, accent bars, and team-specific styling across your Overlays.

1. On the same Club details page, find the Colours section.

2. Set the Primary Colour using the colour picker or by entering a hex code.

3. Set the Secondary Colour the same way.

4. Save your changes.

Choosing Colours That Work On-Screen

• Use the club's official brand colours where possible

• Avoid very light colours for the primary, as white or light text on the scorebug may become unreadable

• If two clubs in the same Competition share similar colours, consider using the secondary colour to create more contrast in head-to-head matches

How Club Branding Flows Through to Matches

Once logos and colours are saved on a Club:

• Every Team under that Club inherits the branding

• Matches created with those Teams automatically display the correct logo and colours in the Control Room

• Themes and Theme Instances reference these values when rendering Graphics

• Public-facing pages like the Match Centre and Review Page also use them

Tips

• Update Club logos well before match day — changes may not apply retroactively to Matches already in progress

• If a club rebrands mid-season, update the logo and colours once on the Club Asset and all future Matches will reflect the change

• Keep an archive of old logo files in case you need to roll back

• For Clubs managed through a Club Portal, a Club Admin can update their own logo and colours directly

Common Issues

The logo looks pixelated in graphics Upload a higher resolution version. Small logos scaled up by a Theme will appear blurry.

Colours look different in the Control Room than expected Check the hex code you entered matches the brand guidelines exactly. Some Themes also apply opacity or gradient effects on top of your colour.

Logo has a white box around it The file is not transparent. Re-export the logo as a PNG with a transparent background.

Changes aren't showing in a live Match Logos and colours are loaded when a Match starts. You may need to refresh the Control Room or restart the Match session for updates to appear.

The wrong logo is showing for a Team Teams inherit from their parent Club. Confirm the Team is linked to the correct Club Asset.
