Adding Sections In A Control Room

Organize your control room canvas by creating custom, color-coded sections for lower thirds, full frames, and score bugs.

Written by Julian Rodrigues

Overview

Sections provide operators with a customizable layout to group graphics based on rundown periods or graphic types.

You'll configure sections when:

  • You want to organize your workflow into pre-match, in-game, and halftime graphics.

  • You prefer to sort your canvas by graphic types (e.g., lower thirds, full frames, match info).

Prerequisites

  • A match set up with an assigned overlay.

  • Basic match data and team sheets populated.

How to Create and Organize Sections

  1. Open the match overlay and go to Control Room.

  2. In the blank canvas area, click the plus button to add a section and name it (e.g., "Lower Thirds").

  3. Assign a color to the section to make it stand out visually (e.g., Orange).

  4. Repeat this process to create additional sections, such as "Full Frames" (e.g., colored Blue) and "Score Bug" (e.g., colored Green).

  5. Ensure the match data (temperature, start times, starting lineups) in the match info tabs are correct, as they will link to the templates placed in these sections.

Tips

  • Section layout is entirely customizable based on what suits your particular operator workflow
