Overview
Adding templates allows you to select specific graphics (like goal scorers or yellow cards) and expose their customizable variables for the operator to manipulate during the live match.
You'll add templates and variables when:
You need to bring lower thirds, full frames, or score bugs into your organized sections.
You want to link graphics to live events logged via the live score app.
Prerequisites
Configured control room sections.
Graphics templates published from RIVE into LIGR.
An active Live Scoring App session running.
How to Add and Edit Graphics Templates
Click Add Graphic within your desired section (e.g., Lower Thirds).
Search for the specific template (e.g., "L3 goal scorer" or "L3 cards") and click Select Graphic.
Rename the graphic for the operator if desired and confirm the section it lives in.
Under variables, define what is exposed to the operator. For basic templates, add "Event" as a variable and select "Fact".
Choose the input type for the variable (e.g., a drop-down or a toggle button) and decide whether it should default to hide or show.
Click Add Graphic to place it in the control room section.
How to Trigger Graphics with Live Data
Log an event (e.g., a goal or a yellow card) in the Live Scoring App and click Save.
In the control room, observe the event populate in the events section.
Open your graphic template (e.g., Goal Scorer), click the dropdown, and select the populated live event.
Drag and resize the preview window to check the graphic.
Click the Graphics In button to send it to air (indicated by a red outline).
Tips
You can easily change a graphic's color or reorder graphics within a section by clicking Edit and dragging them up or down
