You can add an advertisement to a playlist as its own item, separate from any graphic. You choose the kind of ad, its size, when it starts, how long it stays on screen and exactly where it sits.

Before you start
You need an Automated Game Plan with at least one playlist in the Automation tab. Automation needs the Graphics module.
Upload your sponsor images and videos to an ad set first. Image ads, custom images and video ads are picked from your ad sets, so anything not uploaded yet won't appear in the list.
Add an advertisement
Open the playlist you want to add the ad to, then click Add Item to Sequence and choose Add Advertisement.
Choose the kind of ad. There are four options:
Image Ads: a standard image from one of your ad sets.
Custom Images: any image you've uploaded as a custom image in an ad set, at whatever size you made it.
Video Ads: a video uploaded to an ad set.
Club Slot: an empty slot that the home or away club fills with their own ad. See the next section for details.
Pick the size, from Small up to Extra Large. Think about what else is on screen at the same moment. A smaller ad is easier to place alongside a scorebug or lower third without covering anything important.
Click Continue.
Set the start time. This is when the ad appears, measured from the point the playlist starts running.
Set the duration, which is how long the ad stays on screen. Leave the duration empty and the ad stays on screen for as long as the playlist is running.
Drag the ad into place on the canvas. The canvas shows the broadcast frame, so you can see exactly where the ad will sit, for example in the top right corner.
Click Add Advertisement. The ad is added to the playlist as its own item and appears on the playlist timeline.
Save the playlist so your changes are kept.
Add a club slot
A club slot reserves space and time in your playlist for a club's own sponsor. You set the rules and the club supplies the artwork.
Choose Club Slot as the kind of ad.
Give it a clear name that describes where it plays, for example "Pre-game opening ad". Clubs see this name, so make it easy to understand.
Choose the size the club must supply. Choosing custom lets the club decide the size.
Choose Home or Away. For Harbour City (HCF) v Ridgeview (RVR), Home means the Harbour City slot and Away means the Ridgeview slot.
Set the start time, duration and position on the canvas, then click Add Advertisement and save.
The slot appears on the Ad slots page of the club's portal, grouped by playlist. The club adds their image there, and it plays in their slot for the time you set.
Tips and common mistakes
If an ad doesn't appear in the list, check that it has been uploaded to an ad set.
Place ads away from graphics that play at the same time. For a sponsor on every goal, keep the ad clear of the goal lower third.
An empty duration keeps the ad up for the whole playlist. Only leave it empty when that's what you want.
Let clubs know when a new club slot is waiting, so their artwork is ready before the match at LIGR Demo Stadium.
Ideas
A sponsor on every goal, placed away from the goal lower third.
A rotating set of sponsors at half time.
A sponsor every 10 minutes using time triggers.
A sponsor with every third corner using a milestone.
