Overview

Overlay production URLs can be refreshed from two locations in LIGR Live: the Overlay Settings page or the Stream Monitoring page. Refreshing generates a new production URL for the overlay. If you're using external software like vMix or OBS, you may need to re-copy the updated production URL after refreshing. If you're using a LIGR-hosted stream, the overlay updates automatically without requiring any action.

What Happens After Refreshing

For LIGR-hosted streams: The overlay updates automatically. No further action is required.

For external software (vMix, OBS, LiveView): You may need to re-copy the updated production URL. After refreshing the overlay, return to Overlay Settings, copy the new Production Link, and paste it into your streaming software to ensure the updated URL is active.

When to Refresh an Overlay

Refresh the overlay production URL when graphics stop responding or when the overlay becomes unresponsive during a broadcast. This generates a new connection and often resolves issues where graphics are not displaying or updating correctly.
