Overview
The Hide graphics toggle is in the Stream control area of the Stream Monitor. It lets you take all graphics off and show only the clean stream feed during a LIGR-hosted broadcast.
Important: This toggle only affects LIGR-hosted streams. It does not control graphics when you are using external production software with the production URL.
Where to Find the Hide Graphics Toggle
The Hide graphics toggle is on the Stream Monitor, the page where you start, watch and control the stream for a match. There are two ways to reach this page.
To open the Stream Monitor from the Matches section:
Go to the Matches section.
Expand the match you want to monitor.
Click the three-dot menu next to the stream.
Select View.
Alternatively, you can:
Click the white space of a stream row to open the side panel.
Click View.
Either method opens the Stream Monitor. The player shows the program output, and you can choose WebRTC for a fast preview or HLS for a stable one. In the Stream control area you can pick an overlay to put graphics on the stream, or switch on Hide graphics to take them off.
How to Use the Hide Graphics Toggle
Once you are on the Stream Monitor, you can control graphics visibility as follows:
Find the Hide graphics toggle in the Stream control area.
Switch the toggle on.
All graphics are hidden from the stream output, and you see only the clean video feed in the player.
Switch the toggle off to show graphics again.
When the Hide Graphics Toggle Works
The Hide graphics toggle only affects LIGR-hosted streams. This means the toggle works when LIGR is receiving your input feed and sending it to destinations. It controls what appears in the LIGR-hosted stream output, and it changes what every viewer sees: graphics are hidden from all destinations receiving the LIGR-hosted stream.
When the Hide Graphics Toggle Does NOT Work
The Hide graphics toggle does NOT affect graphics when you are using external production software with the production URL. If you have pasted the production URL into external software, the Hide graphics toggle will not control graphics visibility in that software's output. In external software workflows, graphics visibility is controlled by your external software settings, not by LIGR's Hide graphics toggle.
Other Graphics Control Settings
The Start Overlay Hidden toggle is a separate control. You'll find it in the Overlay section of the stream settings window (CREATE STREAM SETTINGS when adding a stream, UPDATE STREAM SETTINGS when editing one). It determines whether graphics appear automatically when a stream starts. This setting only affects LIGR-hosted streams: when it's on, graphics do not appear automatically when the stream starts, and you must manually show graphics from the Control Room. This setting does not affect external software workflows.
Both the Hide graphics toggle and the Start Overlay Hidden toggle only apply to LIGR-hosted streams. Neither affects external software workflows using the production URL.
Tips
Use the Hide graphics toggle to quickly preview your clean feed during a LIGR-hosted stream, and to check input feed quality without graphics overlays. Remember that switching it on changes what every viewer sees, not just your preview. This toggle only works for LIGR-hosted streams, not external software workflows. If you need to hide graphics in external production software, use that software's own controls rather than LIGR's Hide graphics toggle.
