Overview

Scoreboard-only theme instances create a clean output with just the essential match information overlay. This is ideal for distribution partners or secondary outputs where a full-graphics broadcast isn't needed. You configure this by creating a separate theme instance from your main game plan and removing all graphics except the scoreboard.

You'll need an existing game plan with graphics configured, and a scoreboard graphic configured in FUSE with relevant control variables including stoppage time, card indicators, substitution counters, and period/half indicators.

Understanding Theme Instances

Theme instances are separate configurations of the same game plan that output to different destinations. For example, a media screen instance can show full graphics, while a radar/IMG instance shows only the scoreboard.

Theme instances share the same match data — changes to score, time, or events update across all instances simultaneously.

Creating a Scoreboard-Only Theme Instance

Create a second theme instance for the scoreboard-only output. Remove all graphics except the scoreboard. This creates a clean output with just the essential match information overlay.

Each theme instance can have its own default graphic configuration. The scoreboard-only instance is ideal for distribution partners (radar, IMG) who need clean feeds.

Configuring Scoreboard Variables

Set up the scoreboard-specific control variables for the scoreboard-only instance. Key variables include:

* Stoppage time display

* Card indicators

* Substitution counters

* Period/half indicators

Scoreboard variables should be configured for both instances for consistency.

Testing Both Output Streams

Preview both theme instances to verify they display correctly. The full-graphics instance should show all overlays, while the scoreboard-only instance should show a clean feed with only the scoreboard.

You can create more than two instances — for example, a third instance for social media with a different graphic style.
