Overview
Destinations are the platforms where your streams are delivered — YouTube, custom RTMP endpoints, SRT endpoints, or other streaming services. You create destinations in the Streaming tab, then assign them to streams when setting up matches. Each stream can have multiple destinations (typically 3-4) running simultaneously, allowing you to broadcast to multiple platforms from a single stream.
You'll use destinations when:
* Broadcasting to YouTube, custom RTMP/SRT platforms, or other streaming services
* Sending one stream to multiple platforms simultaneously
* Managing where your broadcast video is delivered
How to Create a Destination
1. Click Streaming in the left sidebar
2. Click the Destinations tab
3. Click Create Destination (button in top right)
4. Fill out destination details:
* Destination Name: Give it a descriptive name (e.g., "YouTube Main Channel")
* Platform Type: Select the streaming service or custom RTMP/SRT
* Connection Details: Enter RTMP URL and Stream Key, or SRT link depending on platform type
5. Click Create
The destination is now saved and will appear in your destinations list, available to assign to streams.
How to Assign Destinations to a Stream
Destinations must be assigned to streams before they can receive video. You can assign destinations when creating a stream or add them to existing streams.
When Creating a Stream
1. Navigate to Matches tab
2. Click the drop-down arrow to expand the match
3. Click ADD STREAM
4. In the Stream Configuration section, find the Destinations field
5. Select up to 3 destinations from the dropdown menu
6. Complete the rest of the stream configuration
7. Click CREATE
The stream is now configured to send video to the selected destinations.
Adding Destinations to Existing Streams
1. From the Matches tab, expand the match
2. Click the white space of the stream row to open the side panel
3. In the Destinations section, use the dropdown menu to select additional destinations
4. The destination is immediately assigned to the stream
You can also access destination assignment from stream settings:
1. Click the three-dot menu next to the stream
2. Select Configure
3. Modify the Destinations field
4. Click Save
Feed Types: Program vs Clean
When assigning destinations, you can select the feed type for each destination:
* Program: Includes all graphics overlays (scoreboards, player graphics, advertisements). This is the typical choice for audience-facing broadcasts.
* Clean: Shows only the video input without any graphics overlays. This is used when sending feeds to production partners or recording systems that will add their own graphics.
If graphics aren't showing at your destination platform, verify the feed type is set to Program, not Clean.
Managing Destinations While Streaming
Destinations can be added or removed from a stream while the stream is live. This allows you to adjust where your broadcast is being sent without stopping the stream.
To Add a Destination During a Live Stream
1. From the Matches tab, expand the match
2. Open the side panel for the stream
3. Use the Destinations dropdown to select an additional destination
4. The new destination is added immediately
To Remove a Destination During a Live Stream
1. From the Matches tab, expand the match
2. Open the side panel for the stream
3. Uncheck the destination you want to remove
4. The destination stops receiving video immediately
Note: Reassigning a destination from one stream to another will move it. Destinations can only be assigned to one stream at a time.
Destination Status Indicators
Destination status indicators show the connection health for each destination assigned to a stream. These indicators appear in the expanded match view and on the Stream Monitoring page.
* Gray: Destination configured but not sending
* Yellow: Attempting to connect to destination
* Warning icon with Retry: Failed to connect (retries every ~20 seconds)
* Red: Successfully connected and streaming to destination
If a destination indicator is red, LIGR is successfully connected and streaming. Troubleshooting should focus on the destination platform (e.g., YouTube receiving settings, correct event selection, visibility settings) rather than LIGR configuration.
Starting and Stopping Destinations
Destinations are controlled separately from the stream itself. You can start and stop individual destinations without affecting the stream or other destinations.
From Stream Monitoring Page
1. Access the Stream Monitoring page (View from stream Actions menu)
2. In the Destinations section on the right side, check "Select All" to start all destinations
3. Click GO LIVE (top right)
To stop destinations:
1. Check the destination(s) you want to stop
2. Click STOP
Common Issues and Solutions
Destination Not Receiving Stream
Check destination indicator color first:
* Red indicator: LIGR is successfully connected — troubleshoot the destination platform (YouTube, Facebook, etc.)
* Yellow indicator: Still attempting to connect — check internet connection
* Warning icon: Connection failed — verify destination details (RTMP/SRT credentials)
If red indicator but platform not receiving: Check platform-specific settings (correct stream key, event selection, visibility settings).
Verify destination is checked and "Go Live" was clicked.
Wrong Feed Type on Destination
If graphics aren't showing at destination: check feed type is set to "Program" not "Clean".
If you want no graphics: set feed type to "Clean".
Cannot Assign Destination to Stream
Destinations can only be assigned to one stream at a time. If a destination is already in use on another stream, unassign it from that stream first, then assign it to the new stream.
Tips
* Use descriptive names for destinations that include the platform and purpose (e.g., "YouTube Main Channel", "Facebook Secondary Page")
* Each stream supports 3-4 destinations — plan your multi-platform strategy accordingly
* Destinations can be added or removed while streams are live, giving you flexibility during broadcasts
* Red destination indicators mean LIGR is working correctly — focus troubleshooting on the receiving platform
* Use Clean feed type when sending to production partners who will add their own graphics
* Use Program feed type for audience-facing broadcasts that should include all graphics
* Monitor destination bitrate indicators on the Stream Monitoring page to verify successful delivery
