Venues must be created in the Assets > Venues section before they can be selected anywhere else in LIGR Live. Until a venue exists in the Venues section, it will not appear in the home venue dropdown when creating or editing a club, or in the venue dropdown when creating a match. This is by design: the Assets > Venues section is the single source of truth for all venue data in your organization.

To make a venue available for selection, it first needs to be created in the Assets section. Start by clicking Assets in the left sidebar, then click Venues, and once there click Create a Venue (the red button in the top right). You'll then need to fill out the venue name, the graphics display name, and the venue address before clicking Create Venue to save it. Once this is done, the venue is now available for selection when creating clubs or matches.

Once the venue exists in Assets > Venues, you can assign it as a club's home venue. Click Assets > Clubs and Teams, select the club you want to update, and choose the venue from the Home venue dropdown. Then click Save at the bottom of the screen to apply the change. Teams under this club will inherit the home venue by default.

Once the venue exists in Assets > Venues, it will also be available when creating a match. Click Matches, then click CREATE MATCH, and fill out the competition, home team, away team, date, and time. Next, select the venue from the venue dropdown, and complete the rest of match creation. Keep in mind that only venues created in Assets > Venues will appear in this dropdown.
