Overview
The default starting lineup is managed from the Players tab within a team's settings. You can designate which players should automatically appear in the starting lineup for matches, assign captain status, and determine which players appear on the bench. Changes save automatically without needing to click a Save button.
Prerequisites
* Players must already be added to the team roster
* You must have access to the team's settings in Assets > Clubs and Teams
How to manage the default starting lineup
1. Click Assets in the left sidebar
2. Select Clubs and Teams
3. Select the team you want to configure
4. Click the Players tab
The Players tab displays two sections: the left side shows the full roster of players belonging to the team, and the right side shows the default starting lineup and default bench lineup.
Adding a player to the starting lineup
1. On the right side of the screen, click Add Starter under Default Starting Lineup
2. Search for the player name
3. Toggle Starting on
4. Toggle Bench on if the player should also appear on the bench
5. Toggle Captain on if applicable
6. Click X in the top right to exit
Changes save automatically when you toggle options on or off - no Save button needed.
Editing a starter's status
To modify a player's starting status, captain status, or bench status, follow the same process: click Add Starter, search for the player, then adjust the toggles as needed. The changes apply automatically.
Understanding the toggle options
Starting toggle: When enabled, the player automatically appears in the starting lineup for new matches created under this team.
Bench toggle: When enabled, the player appears on the bench. A player can have both Starting and Bench toggles enabled.
Captain toggle: Designates the player as team captain, which appears in broadcast graphics and match records.
Automatic saving
Unlike other sections of LIGR Live that require clicking a Save button, changes made in the starting lineup section save automatically. As soon as you toggle Starting, Bench, or Captain on or off, the change is recorded.
