The Match Centre timeline displays every match event as it is logged, giving you a running log of what has happened during a match.
What Appears on the Timeline
Every match event that is logged shows up on the timeline in real time. This includes:
• Goals
• Cards
• Substitutions
• Period changes
• All other match events
Events appear in the order they are recorded so you can follow the match as it unfolds.

Filtering the Timeline
When the event feed gets busy, filters make it easier to focus. Use the available filters to show only specific event types, for example goals and cards only.
Filters only affect what you see in Match Centre. They do not change what is logged or how events feed into anything else.
Highlights on the Timeline
When highlights are generated from match events, they appear directly on the timeline alongside their source event. From any highlight on the timeline you can:
• Preview the highlight
• Download the highlight
• Edit the highlight
• Share the highlight
This lets you work with highlights without leaving Match Centre.
Tips
• Keep a filter on the busiest event type if you are only interested in one aspect of the match (for example goals only).
• Clear your filter before sharing a highlight so you can see the event in the context of the wider match.
Common Issues
An event is missing from the timeline. Match Centre shows events as they are logged. If an event is missing, check the LiveScore App or Control Room where events are recorded.
An event has the wrong detail. Correct the event at its source, in the LiveScore App or Control Room. Match Centre reflects the corrected event once it is updated.
A highlight has not appeared. Highlights are generated from events. If an event was logged late or was edited after the fact, the highlight may take a moment to become available.
