Data Coverage Levels determine how much statistical detail is captured for a match through the LiveScore App, ranging from Minimum to Standard.
Choosing the right Data Coverage level helps you balance the effort required from your Live Scorer with the depth of match data available for graphics, the Review Page, and the Match Centre.
What Data Coverage Controls
Data Coverage sets the scope of Match Facts a Live Scorer is expected to record during a match. The higher the coverage level, the more event types and statistics are tracked, and the richer the data available to:
• Automated Game Plans and Playlists
• Scorebugs and other Overlays
• The Review Page after the match
• The public-facing Match Centre

The Data Coverage Levels
LIGR Live offers different levels of Data Coverage so you can match the scoring workload to the resources available on the day.
Minimum Coverage
Minimum is the lightest option. It focuses on the core Match Facts needed to keep a Scorebug accurate and a match progressing.
Use Minimum when:
• You have a single Live Scorer with limited time
• You only need the basics (such as score and key events) on graphics
• The match does not require detailed post-match statistics
Standard Coverage
Standard captures a broader set of Match Facts, giving you more data to drive graphics and richer post-match content on the Review Page and Match Centre.
Use Standard when:
• You want more detailed stats displayed in Overlays
• You plan to produce Highlights and want more Moments tagged automatically
• Your Live Scorer is confident using the LiveScore App and can keep pace with play

Setting Data Coverage for a Match
Data Coverage is set at the match level so you can adjust it to suit each fixture.
1. Open the match from your matches list.
2. Go to the match settings.
3. Locate the Data Coverage option.
4. Select the level that matches your scoring setup.
5. Save your changes.
The selected level will apply when the Live Scorer opens the match in the LiveScore App.
Tips
• Match your Data Coverage level to the experience of your Live Scorer — starting with Minimum is a safe choice for new scorers.
• If your Automated Game Plan relies on specific Match Facts, make sure your Data Coverage level captures those events.
• You can use a higher level for finals or feature matches and a lower level for regular fixtures.
• Brief your Live Scorer before the match so they know which Match Facts they are expected to record.
Common Issues
Graphics are missing data during the match Check that the Data Coverage level for the match includes the Match Facts your Overlays rely on. If it is set to Minimum, upgrade to Standard if you need more detail.
The Review Page looks sparse after the match The Review Page can only show events that were recorded. If key Match Facts are missing, confirm the Data Coverage level and that the Live Scorer captured events during the match.
Live Scorer is overwhelmed during play If a scorer is struggling to keep up, consider dropping to Minimum for future matches or assigning a second Live Scorer.
