Data Coverage defines how much statistical detail is tracked for matches within a Competition, ranging from Minimum to Standard levels.
What Is Data Coverage?
Data Coverage is a Competition-level setting that controls the depth of Match Facts captured during a match. The level you choose affects what scorers can record in the LiveScore App and what data is available for your graphics, Review Page, and Match Centre.
Choosing the right level upfront ensures your broadcasts show the stats that matter to your audience without overloading your scorers with unnecessary inputs.
Data Coverage Levels
LIGR Live offers different Data Coverage levels to suit the needs of your Competition:
• Minimum — Captures only the essential Match Facts, such as the final score and basic match events. Best for low-resource productions or grassroots matches.
• Standard — Captures a broader range of Match Facts, including detailed events and stats for richer graphics and post-match analysis.
The right level depends on your broadcast ambitions, the capability of your Live Scorer, and the graphics you plan to run.
Prerequisites
Before setting Data Coverage, you need:
• An existing Competition in your Organisation, or a new Competition you are creating
• Admin or Owner permissions to edit Competition settings
• An understanding of what Match Facts your graphics and Game Plan require

Tips
• Set Data Coverage before creating matches so every match in the Competition is consistent.
• If your graphics rely on detailed stats (e.g. possession, shots, fouls), choose Standard to ensure the data is captured.
• Align your Data Coverage choice with the skill level of your Live Scorer — a higher coverage level requires more inputs during the match.
• Review your Theme Instance and Automated Game Plan to confirm which Match Facts are needed, then match your Data Coverage accordingly.
Common Issues
Stats are missing from my graphics or Review Page Check that the Competition's Data Coverage is set to a level that includes those Match Facts. Minimum coverage will not capture detailed stats.
Live Scorer cannot record certain events in the LiveScore App Event options in the LiveScore App are driven by the Competition's Data Coverage. Increase the level to unlock more Match Facts.
Changing Data Coverage mid-Competition Updating the setting affects future matches. Matches already played retain the data captured at the time.
