Managing media playback in the Control Room lets you trigger, monitor, and control the graphics and media elements that appear on your live stream during a match.
Overview
The Control Room is the live production interface where operators manage overlays and graphics during a match. From here, you can play Graphics, run Playlists, and monitor what is currently on air. Media playback works alongside your Game Plan, whether you are operating in Manual Mode or using an Automated Game Plan.

Playing Graphics
Graphics are individual visual elements such as Scorebugs, lower thirds, lineup cards, or sponsor logos. You can trigger them directly from the Control Room.
Triggering a Graphic
1. Locate the Graphic you want to play in the Control Room panel.
2. Click the play control next to the Graphic to send it to air.
3. Monitor the preview to confirm it is displayed correctly on the stream.
4. Click the stop or hide control to remove the Graphic from air.
Using the Scorebug
The Scorebug is a persistent Graphic showing the live score, time, and team information. Once played, it typically remains on air throughout the Match unless manually hidden.
Playing Playlists
A Playlist is an automated sequence of Graphics that plays during specific Match events.
1. Find the Playlist you want to trigger in the Control Room.
2. Click the play control to start the sequence.
3. The Graphics in the Playlist will play in order based on its configuration.
4. You can stop the Playlist at any time if needed.

Manual Mode vs. Automated Game Plan
How you manage media playback depends on the mode your Match is running in:
• Manual Mode: All Graphics and Playlists are triggered manually by the operator from the Control Room.
• Automated Game Plan: Graphics and Playlists play automatically based on Match events captured from the LiveScore App, such as goals or Match Facts. Operators can still override or trigger additional media manually if needed.
Monitoring Output
Use the Monitoring Link if you need to watch the Graphics output without control access. This is useful for:
• Producers reviewing the on-air output
• Directors coordinating with the Control Room operator
• Quality checks without risk of triggering Graphics
Tips
• Keep the Control Room open in a dedicated browser tab and avoid reloading during a live Match.
• Test your Graphics and Playlists before kickoff by playing them to the preview.
• If using an Automated Game Plan, confirm the Live Scorer is connected and capturing Match Facts correctly.
• Coordinate with your Live Scorer so automated triggers fire at the right moments.
• Use Sponsor Loops to keep sponsor visibility consistent between key Graphic events.
Common Issues
• Graphic not appearing on stream: Confirm the Input and Destination are live, and that the Theme Instance is correctly assigned to the Competition.
• Playlist not triggering automatically: Check that the Match is running an Automated Game Plan and that the relevant Match Facts are being recorded in the LiveScore App.
• Scorebug missing data: Verify that Teams, Players, and the Competition are fully configured.
• Delayed Graphic playback: Check your network connection and confirm the encoder feeding your Input is stable.
• Accidental triggers: If multiple operators have the Production Link open, coordinate who is in control to avoid duplicate plays.
