The Scorebug is the small persistent graphic in LIGR Live that displays the live score, match time, and team information on top of your video stream during a match.
What a Scorebug Shows
The Scorebug is one of the core Overlays used in the Control Room. It stays on screen for most of the match and gives viewers the key information they need at a glance.
A Scorebug typically includes:
• Team names or abbreviations
• Team logos and colours
• The current score
• The match clock or period time
• The current period, quarter, or half
The exact look of your Scorebug is defined by the Theme Instance assigned to your Competition.

Where the Scorebug Lives
The Scorebug is controlled from the Control Room, the live production interface you open using the Production Link for a match.
Inside the Control Room, the Scorebug sits alongside other Graphics such as lower thirds, full-screen graphics, and sponsor elements. Because it's persistent, it behaves differently from one-off Graphics you trigger manually.

Showing and Hiding the Scorebug
The Scorebug can be turned on or off during a match depending on what's happening on screen.
1. Open the Control Room using the Production Link for your match.
2. Locate the Scorebug control in the Graphics area.
3. Click to show the Scorebug when play is live.
4. Click again to hide it when you trigger a full-screen Graphic or want a clean feed.
In an Automated Game Plan, the Scorebug can be set to show and hide automatically based on match events, so you don't need to toggle it manually.
Scorebugs and Themes
The visual design of your Scorebug comes from the Theme applied to your Competition.
• The Theme defines colours, fonts, layout, and animations.
• The Theme Instance is the specific configuration applied to your Competition or Match.
• Team colours and logos are pulled in from the Club and Team Assets.
If you want to change how your Scorebug looks, you update the Theme Instance rather than the Scorebug itself.
Scorebugs and Match Data
The Scorebug updates live using data from the match. Scores and events entered in the LiveScore App, or recorded as Match Facts, feed directly into the Scorebug so the display stays accurate without manual updates.

Tips
• Hide the Scorebug before triggering full-screen Graphics so they don't overlap.
• Check your Scorebug on the Monitoring Link before going live to confirm team names, logos, and colours are correct.
• If your Competition uses an Automated Game Plan, test it with a dummy match to see how the Scorebug behaves on kick-off, goals, and period changes.
• Make sure your Team and Club Assets have the correct logos and colours uploaded, as the Scorebug pulls directly from these.
Common Issues
The Scorebug shows the wrong team colours or logo Check the Club and Team Assets. The Scorebug uses whatever is saved there. Update the Team record and reload the Control Room.
The score isn't updating Confirm the Live Scorer is connected in the LiveScore App and that Match Facts are being recorded. If events aren't coming through, the Scorebug won't reflect the latest score.
The Scorebug doesn't match the rest of my Graphics This usually means the Theme Instance isn't set correctly on the Competition. Check the Theme assigned to the Competition and confirm the correct Theme Instance is in use.
The Scorebug won't show or hide If you're using an Automated Game Plan, manual toggles may be overridden by the Game Plan rules. Switch to Manual Mode if you need full manual control.
