Inputs and Destinations in LIGR Live define how video enters the platform from your encoder and how the final stream with graphics is sent out to viewers.
What Are Inputs and Destinations?
Before you can stream a match with LIGR overlays, you need to tell LIGR where your video is coming from and where it should go. That's the job of Inputs and Destinations.
Inputs
An Input is the video source connected to LIGR. This is typically the clean video feed sent from an encoder such as:
• OBS
• vMix
• A hardware encoder
LIGR receives this feed, applies your graphics (scorebugs, lower thirds, sponsor loops, etc.), and then sends the combined output onwards.
Destinations
A Destination is where the finished stream is sent once LIGR has added the graphics on top. Common Destinations include:
• YouTube Live
• Facebook Live
• Any custom RTMP endpoint
You can send a single match stream to one or multiple Destinations at the same time.

How Inputs and Destinations Work Together
The flow is straightforward:
1. Your encoder sends video to LIGR via an Input (usually over RTMP).
2. LIGR combines that video with the Overlays triggered from the Control Room.
3. LIGR sends the final, graphics-included stream to your chosen Destinations.
This means viewers on YouTube, Facebook, or your custom RTMP endpoint see both the live video and the LIGR graphics layered together.

Setting Up an Input
1. Open the match you want to stream from the Matches tab.
2. Go to the Streaming section of the match.
3. Locate the Input details, including the RTMP server URL and stream key.
4. Copy these details into your encoder (OBS, vMix, or your hardware encoder).
5. Start streaming from your encoder to begin sending video to LIGR.
Adding a Destination
1. In the same Streaming section of the match, find the Destinations area.
2. Add a new Destination by entering the RTMP URL and stream key from YouTube, Facebook, or your chosen platform.
3. Save the Destination.
4. Repeat to add additional Destinations if you want to stream to multiple platforms at once.

Tips
• Test your Input well before match start. Sending a test feed from your encoder confirms LIGR is receiving video correctly.
• Use a wired internet connection on the encoder machine for stable RTMP delivery.
• Keep your YouTube or Facebook stream keys private — anyone with them can stream to your channel.
• If you only need to monitor the stream without sending it out, you can rely on the Multiview feature rather than adding a live Destination.
Common Issues
No video arriving at LIGR
• Double-check the RTMP URL and stream key in your encoder match what's shown in the Input settings.
• Confirm your encoder is actually streaming and not just previewing.
Stream not reaching the Destination
• Verify the Destination RTMP URL and stream key are correct and still active on the platform (YouTube and Facebook keys can expire).
• Make sure the match is live and the Input is receiving video — without an Input, there's nothing to send to the Destination.
Graphics not appearing on the output
• Confirm you are streaming through LIGR (via the Input) rather than directly from your encoder to YouTube or Facebook. Graphics are only added to the LIGR output sent to Destinations.
