Downloading match recordings in LIGR Live lets you save the full video file of a match to your computer for archiving, editing, or sharing outside the platform.
Overview
Every match streamed through LIGR Live is recorded and stored against the match record. Once a match has finished, you can access the recording from the match's media area and download it as a video file.
This guide covers how to locate a match recording and download it to your device.
Prerequisites
Before you can download a match recording, make sure:
• The match has finished streaming and the recording has finished processing
• You have a user role with access to match media (Owner, Admin, User, or Media Viewer)
• You know which Competition and Match the recording belongs to
How to Download a Match Recording
Step 1: Open the Match
1. Log in to LIGR Live.
2. Navigate to the Competition that contains the match.
3. Open the Match you want to download the recording for.

Step 2: Go to the Recording
1. Inside the match, open the media or recordings area for that match.
2. Locate the full match recording in the list of available media.

Step 3: Download the File
1. Select the recording you want to download.
2. Use the download option on the recording to save the video file to your device.
3. Wait for the download to complete before closing the browser tab.

Tips
• Longer matches produce larger files, so make sure you have enough disk space before starting the download.
• Use a stable internet connection to avoid interrupted downloads on long recordings.
• If you only need a short section of the match, consider creating Moments or Highlights instead of downloading the full recording.
• Downloaded recordings can be imported into editing tools for further post-production work.
Common Issues
The recording isn't available yet After a match ends, the recording needs time to finish processing before it can be downloaded. Check back shortly if the download option isn't visible.
The download option is missing Your user role may not have permission to access match media. Contact your Owner or Admin to confirm your permission level.
The download fails partway through Large files can fail on unstable connections. Try again on a wired or more stable network.
I can't find the match Make sure you're looking inside the correct Competition and that the match has actually been streamed through LIGR Live.
