The below article will demonstrate how to setup and stream into LIGR from Larix Broadcaster using an iPad. It is also possible to use an iPhone or Android.

The Larix Broadcaster software can be downloaded at the following links:

Before getting started the user will need to setup a streaming input within LIGR before starting this process. An article on setting up an input can be found here.

There is also an article about Getting Started With Streaming which can be found here.

  • Open the Larix Broadcaster app.

  • Click the settings cog icon on the main screen.

  • Click Connections

  • Click the '+' icon in the top right of the screen

  • Give your stream a Name, then enter the Server URL from the relevant Input within LIGR. It's is imperative that you also add the Stream Key after the Server URL. The below image shows the Server URL in red and the Stream Key in Green

  • Select if you want Audio + Video, Video only or Audio only on your stream from the Mode menu

  • Once happy click SAVE

  • Go back to your main screen within Larix and start the broadcast by clicking the white circle. That will display a red square to indicate that you're broadcasting successfully

  • Head to the Stream Monitoring page in LIGR and you will see the footage being sent. If you're using Auto Mode, toggle that option off to see the footage underneath the full screen graphic. The Auto Graphics option is displayed in red below

When happy, hit GO LIVE if you're using LIGR to push to your final destination, YouTube etc, or CAPTURE HIGHLIGHTS if you're using LIGR to only generate your highlights.
