A full match is a long piece of video. The Moments Editor gives you a few tools to get to the exact second you want quickly: event filters, coloured event dots, period bands, a zoom slider, the playhead and playback speed.

Before you start
Open the Moments Editor from a match recording or a highlight. See Create a moment for what to do once you've found your spot.
Event dots only appear for events that were logged during the match, either in the LiveScore app or through an external data feed.
Show events on the timeline
Look under the player. Every event logged in the match is listed there, each with a count, such as Goal, Shot On Target, Substitution, Yellow Card or Corner.
Click an event to show it on the timeline. Click it again to hide it.
Turn on as many events as you like. For example, turn on Goal and Shot On Target when you're looking for attacking moments, or just Yellow Card when you want the bookings.
The count tells you how many times that event happened, so you know at a glance how many dots to expect.
Read the timeline
The track under the player holds the whole match from start to finish.
Coloured dots: each dot marks one logged event. Each event type has its own colour, so you can tell a goal from a card without hovering over it.
Period bands: coloured bands split the track into the periods of the match: First Half, Half Time, Second Half and Full Time. Use them to jump straight to the right part of the match.
The dots are a guide, not the edge of a clip. A logged event is usually entered a few seconds after the action happens, so the build-up sits just before the dot.
Zoom in
Drag the zoom slider to spread the timeline out.
The more you zoom, the more space each minute takes, and the easier it is to place the playhead on an exact second.
Zoom back out when you want to see the whole match again.
Zooming out is best for finding the right part of the match. Zooming in is best for placing the playhead precisely before you create a moment.
Move the playhead and change speed
Click anywhere on the track to move the playhead there. The player jumps to that point and the time code updates, for example 51:02.
Press play to watch from that point.
Change the playback speed, for example to 2x, to scan through quiet passages faster.
When you get close to the moment, slow back down to normal speed so you can find the exact second.
Once the playhead is where you want it, pause the player. You're ready to create a moment.
Tips and common mistakes
No dots showing? Check you've clicked at least one event under the player. If the list is empty, no events were logged for that match, so use the period bands and playback instead.
Looking for something that wasn't logged? Near misses, saves and crowd reactions often have no event. Use the period bands to get close, then scan at 2x.
Start a little early. Place the playhead a few seconds before a dot, then play forward to catch the build-up.
Zoom before you fine tune. It is much easier to land on the right second when the timeline is spread out.
