Setting the default graphic (scorebug)

Choose the default graphic for live play, usually your scorebug, and set its variables such as stoppage time.

The default graphic is what's on screen during live play when no other playlist is running. It's nearly always the scorebug.

Add the default graphic

  1. Open the game plan and go to the In Game (Live) tab.

  2. Add the default graphic and choose your scorebug.

  3. Set its variables, for example turn on show stoppage time so added time appears at 45' and 90'.

  4. Save.

The default graphic has no trigger. It loops for the whole match, and other playlists return to it when they finish.

Good to know: On Rive themes, a game plan needs a default scorebug. Without one, in-play automation won't work.

Returning to the default

Two actions bring you back to the default graphic:

  • Hide all except scorebug: clears everything else and leaves the scorebug on.

  • Show scoreboard: shows the default graphic again after a Hide all.

Most in-play playlists start with Hide all except scorebug and end with Show scoreboard or Hide all except scorebug.

Penalty shootouts

Open the default scorebug and, in the right-hand panel under Trigger Playlists, make sure Show during shootout is on. This keeps the scorebug up during penalties. It's on by default in new game plans. Check it in older ones.

Scorebug ads

If your scorebug has an in-graphic ad area, you can put an ad in it so a sponsor shows all match. See *Adding in-graphic ads to playlist graphics*.
