How to create an Automated Game Plan

Create a new game plan, choose its theme and sport, and apply it to your competitions and theme profiles.

This article covers creating the game plan itself. Once it exists, you add playlists to it (see *How to create a playlist and add triggers*).

Before you start

  • Your graphics are built in FUSE and published to a Rive theme.

  • At least one competition uses that theme and has a theme profile.

Create the game plan

  1. Click Automation in the left sidebar. This opens Automated Game Plans.

  2. Click Create Automated Game Plan (top right).

  3. Enter a name. Use something your team will recognise, including the output if you run more than one, for example "NPL 2026 – Media (Full)" or "NPL 2026 – Radar (Scoreboard only)".

  4. Choose the theme. The game plan can only use this theme's graphics.

  5. Choose the sport.

  6. Choose the competitions. Only competitions that match the selected theme and sport are listed.

  7. For each competition, choose the theme profile(s) this game plan should apply to.

  8. Click Create Automated Game Plan.

Your new game plan appears in the list with its sport, theme, competitions and created/updated dates.

Edit, rename or delete a game plan

Use the ⋮ menu on the game plan's row to edit its settings (name, sport, competitions and theme profiles), edit its playlists, or delete it.

Naming tips

  • Include the competition or season: "National League 2026/27".

  • Include the output when you run more than one: "w/ Ints", "Radar", "Media".

  • Name playlists after their moment: "Pre-Game 8 Minutes From KO", "HT Playlist", "Goal".

Good to know: Changes to a game plan apply to every competition using it as soon as you save. Refresh any overlay that's already open to pick them up. There's no version history, so if you want to experiment, make a copy first.
