Overview
Once a control room is created, an overlay generates the unique URL used to output HTML5 graphics to your production software.
You'll use the overlay feature when:
You want to set up specific match graphics rather than using competition-level defaults.
You need to configure background modes, watermarks, or ad types for a singular broadcast.
Prerequisites
A created match with teams and relevant information inputted.
An existing control room.
How to Add an Overlay to a Match
Navigate to the match you have created and click Add Overlay.
Set the Control Room to the specific one you want to use (e.g., "LIGA demo").
Name your overlay template.
Configure ad types (e.g., "no brands" if omitting ads) and turn off the auto background for manual mode operation.
Adjust watermarks (e.g., removing the secondary watermark to keep just the primary).
Click Create.
How to Connect Your Overlay Output
Locate the newly created overlay in the match settings and click the links button.
Select Copy the production link.
Paste this URL into your production software (OBS, vMix, etc.) or output it via SDI or NDI tools.
Tips
You can configure overlays, streams, and inputs at the competition level to apply to all matches, or handle them on a match-by-match basis for greater control.
