Playlists are the building blocks of a game plan. Each one has a name, one or more triggers, and a timeline of items.
Create a playlist
Open your game plan from Automation.
Choose the tab: Pre/Post Match & Breaks for breaks, or In Game (Live) for in-play.
Click Create Playlist.
Enter a Playlist Name.
Choose the Period Group, optional Break Number, and Trigger Type (explained below).
Click Create. The playlist appears in the list showing its duration and triggers.
Trigger settings
Field | What it does |
Period Group | Which part of the match the trigger belongs to, for example Pregame, Regular (normal time), Extra time or Postgame. |
Break Number (optional) | A specific break in that group, such as the first break (half time in football). Leave it empty to run the trigger for every break in the group. |
Trigger Type | What starts the playlist. The options depend on the period group and the tab you're in. |
Trigger types
Break triggers (Pre/Post Match & Breaks)
Default: runs for the whole of that period. In Pregame, it starts as soon as the match exists.
Players entering: starts when Players Entering is tapped in the LiveScore app.
About to start: starts when About to Start is tapped in the LiveScore app.
Time trigger: starts a set time before the next period, for example 8 minutes before kick-off.
Good to know: Players entering and About to start come from buttons in the LiveScore app. If your match runs on an external data feed that doesn't send them, use a Time trigger instead.
In-play triggers (In Game (Live))
Events: goals, cards (yellow, second yellow, red), substitutions and other match facts.
Milestones: every Nth occurrence of a fact for a team, for example every 3rd yellow card or every 3rd corner.
Time triggers: a set time into the period, for example 10 minutes into the first half.
Add more triggers to one playlist
One playlist can have several triggers. For example, one "About to start" playlist can run before kick-off, before the second half and before extra time.
Click Configure on the playlist.
Open the Trigger playlists tab.
Click Add Trigger and set the period group, break number and trigger type.
Repeat for each moment you want the playlist to run.
