Overview

Goal-triggered playlists automatically display graphics when a goal is scored during a live match. These playlists are configured in the Live gameplay section of your Automated Game Plan and typically include a goal celebration animation followed by an updated scoreline displaying goal scorer information. The system detects goal events from the match data feed and fires the configured graphics sequence automatically.


Prerequisites

* Access to the LIGR Automation platform


* A game plan with a Live gameplay section configured


* Goal animation and scoreline graphics configured in FUSE


* A scoreline graphic with a showGoals control variable


How to Set Up a Goal-Triggered Playlist

1. Open your game plan and navigate to the Live gameplay section. This is where event-triggered playlists are configured, responding to real-time match events like goals, cards, and substitutions.


2. Add a new event trigger and select Goal as the event type. This trigger activates whenever a goal is scored. The system automatically detects goal events from the match data feed.


3. In the goal-triggered playlist, add your goal celebration/animation graphic as the first item. Set appropriate timing — typically 3-5 seconds for the animation. This shows immediately when a goal is scored.


4. After the goal animation, add the scoreline graphic with the showGoals variable enabled. This displays the updated score with goal scorer information. Configure how long the updated scoreline remains on screen.


5. Fine-tune the timing between the goal animation and scoreline display. The goal sequence should feel natural — celebration animation, brief pause, then updated score. Total sequence timing typically runs 8-15 seconds.


Tips

* Keep goal animations short and punchy (3-5 seconds) — viewers want to see the replay, not a long animation


* The scoreline graphic should clearly show the goal scorer's name and the updated score


* Test the full goal sequence timing in preview before a live broadcast


* You can create different goal animations for home vs away teams by using conditional triggers


* Goal-triggered playlists take priority over time-based graphics to ensure they display immediately
