Overview

The Stream Monitoring page is accessed by clicking "View" from a stream's actions menu or from the side panel when you click the white space of a stream row. This page displays a large video player showing your live stream in full-screen 1920x1080 format, along with comprehensive stream status information, input and destination details, and overlay controls positioned directly below the video player.

You'll use this page to start and stop streams, monitor stream health through bitrate indicators, adjust audio settings, manage destinations, and control overlay assignment and visibility.

OR

What the Stream Monitoring Page Displays

The page is organized into several key sections:

Overlay Controls Below the Video Player

The overlay controls are located directly below the video player and are only available on the Stream Monitoring page (not in Match Center).

Overlay Assignment Dropdown

This dropdown lets you reassign which overlay is used for this stream. Click the dropdown to see available overlays and select a different one. The Stream Monitor page is one of the primary locations where you can change overlay assignments for streams.

Refresh Icon

Located immediately to the right of the overlay dropdown, the refresh icon refreshes the overlay production URL for this stream. Overlay refresh is performed from the Stream Monitoring page and cannot be refreshed from Match Center.

If using external software like vMix or OBS, you may need to re-copy the updated production URL after refreshing the overlay.

Hide Graphics Toggle

This toggle hides all graphics and shows only the clean stream feed. This control is specific to LIGR-hosted streams and is only available on the Stream Monitoring page.

Important: When using external software like vMix or OBS with the overlay production URL, the Hide Graphics toggle does not affect overlay visibility. This setting only controls graphics on LIGR-hosted streams.

Understanding Bitrate Indicators

Input Bitrate Indicators:

* Warning icon: No stream received

* Green with KBS value: Stream is being received

Destination Bitrate Indicators:

Each destination shows its own bitrate indicator to help you monitor connection quality to different platforms.

Starting and Stopping Streams

To Start a Stream:

1. Click START STREAM button in the top right

2. The button is only available if an input is assigned to the stream

Important: As soon as you click "Yes, start stream" you begin incurring charges for streaming and highlight services. Charges continue until you stop the stream.

To Start Destinations:

1. Check the "Select All" checkbox above the destinations list

2. Click GO LIVE button in the top right

To Stop Destinations:

1. Check the destination(s) you want to stop

2. Click STOP button

To Stop the Stream:

1. Click STOP STREAM button in the top right

2. Confirm when prompted

3. Once confirmed, you stop incurring charges for streaming and highlights

You MUST manually stop the stream or use automation to stop it. Simply closing the browser tab does not stop the stream or billing.

Audio Settings

Audio controls are located on the Stream Monitoring page and allow you to adjust audio during the stream:

* Mix Audio toggle: Mix left and right audio channels

* Mute Left/Right channels: Mute individual audio channels if needed

* Input audio volume slider: Adjust the incoming audio level

Stream Settings Access

From the Stream Monitoring page:

1. Click the three-dot menu in the top right

2. Select "Stream Settings"

This opens the stream configuration where you can modify settings. Some settings can be changed while the stream is live, while others require the stream to be stopped first.

Settings You Can Change While Live:

* Add or remove destinations

* Change overlay assignment

* Adjust audio settings (mix, mute, volume)

Settings You Cannot Change While Live:

* Frame rate

* Resolution

* Region

* Input assignment (the stream must be stopped first)

Difference from Match Center

The Stream Monitoring page provides technical monitoring and control capabilities that are not available in Match Center:

* Overlay controls (assignment, refresh, hide graphics toggle) are only on the Stream Monitoring page

* Detailed bitrate indicators for input and destinations

* Audio controls and settings

* Stream start/stop controls

* Destination management and Go Live controls

Match Center focuses on match events, highlights, and the event timeline, while the Stream Monitoring page focuses on stream health, technical controls, and overlay management.
