Overview
When you set an overlay's Ad Type to Brands, your sponsor ads will not appear on screen unless you also switch on the Enable Ads toggle. Both settings sit together in the Ads section of the overlay window, but they are separate settings.
This toggle must be turned on for ads to display during your broadcast. If Enable Ads is off, no sponsor ads will appear on the overlay regardless of your Ad Type selection.
Prerequisites
Before you enable ads on an overlay, make sure the following are in place:
An overlay must already be created for your match.
The overlay's Ad Type must be set to Brands. You set this in the Ads section of the overlay window, either when you create the overlay or when you configure it later.
You must have sufficient Graphics and Brands hours in your balance.
Ad campaigns must exist in the Ads section of your organisation.
How to Enable Ads on an Overlay
To turn on ads for a specific overlay, start from the Matches tab and find your match, then expand it to reveal its overlays. Open the menu on the overlay's row and click Configure. The UPDATE OVERLAY window opens. Click Ads in the section list on the left to jump to it, or scroll down to it.
Confirm Ad Type is set to Brands.
Switch the Enable Ads toggle on.
Click Update at the bottom of the window to apply your changes.
If you're creating a new overlay, the CREATE OVERLAY window has the same Ads section. Choose Brands, switch on Enable Ads, then click Create.
Important Notes
Ads will only display if ALL of the following conditions are met:
Ad Type is set to Brands.
The Enable Ads toggle is on in the overlay's Ads section.
You have sufficient Graphics and Brands hours in your balance.
The overlay is active (red indicator).
Ad campaigns are configured in your Ads section.
If Enable Ads is off or Ad Type is set to No Brands, no sponsor ads will display on that overlay regardless of how your ad campaigns are configured.
Checking Your Graphics and Brands Balance
Your remaining Graphics and Brands hours are visible in the top-right corner of the Matches page. You can also view detailed usage in Profile > Billing > Usage tab.
If your balance is low or at zero, ads will not appear on the broadcast even if Enable Ads is switched on.
