The MANUAL / AUTO switch in the Control Room's top bar decides who runs the graphics.
Mode | What happens |
Manual | The operator chooses what goes on air, and when. See Putting graphics on air. |
Auto | Graphics fire on their own as the match data comes in, following the Automated Game Plan for the match's theme profile. |
When to use Manual
You have an operator watching the match.
Late drama, extra time or an unplanned moment. Switch to Manual and you're back in control, in the same room.
When to use Auto
When an Automated Game Plan is set up for the match and you want the data to do the work. See What are Automated Game Plans?
