Find a theme

Browse the ready-made themes in Theme Management, filter by sport, open a theme like LIGR Football and preview each of its graphics.

Every theme profile starts from a ready-made LIGR theme. Here's how to find the right one for your sport, open it, and see how each graphic looks before you start making it your own.

Before you start

  • Themes and overlays are part of the Broadcast Graphics module. If you can't see the Themes tab, check with your organisation's Owner or Admin.

  • You'll save your finished theme against a competition, so it helps to have your competition set up already, for example LIGR Demo League.

Open Theme Management

  1. Click Themes in the left menu.

  2. Click Theme Management in the sub-menu at the top.

This is the LIGR Themes library: every ready-made theme you can use. Each theme appears as a card with a preview image. The card also tells you how many graphics the theme has and how many competitions already use it, shown as "N graphics, used by N comps".

Filter by sport

  1. Use the Sport filter to pick your sport.

  2. If you want to narrow the list further, use the Theme Type filter.

Filtering means you only see themes made for your sport, with the graphics that sport needs. Some generic themes, such as Borealis, Columba, Corvus and Gemini, can suit several sports.

Open a theme

  1. Click a theme card, for example LIGR FOOTBALL.

  2. The theme opens in the editor, on the GRAPHICS & STYLES tab.

Opening a theme doesn't change anything for your competitions. You're starting your own version of it, which you'll save later as a theme profile. Other organisations and competitions using the same theme aren't affected by your choices.

Preview each graphic

  1. On the left, you'll see the theme's list of graphics, such as Lower Third, Match ID, Scorebug, Team Lists and Match Stats.

  2. Click a graphic to see how it looks in this theme in the preview in the middle of the screen.

  3. Click REPLAY ANIMATION to watch it come in, or tick Loop Animation to keep it playing.

On the right is the style panel, with a Theme and Graphic toggle at the top. You'll use it in the next steps to set your style, colour, texture, font, animations and edges.

Tips and common mistakes

  • Check the graphics list before you commit. Not every theme has the same graphics, and your control room and game plan can only use what the theme includes.

  • Can't find a theme? Check the Sport and Theme Type filters. The theme may be filed under another sport or type.

  • Want something completely your own? Click REQUEST CUSTOM THEME at the top right of Theme Management. See Requesting a custom theme.
