Overview
Bulk actions allow you to perform operations on multiple matches at once. Instead of opening each match individually, you can select multiple match checkboxes and apply actions to all of them simultaneously. This includes finishing matches, abandoning matches, changing live scorers, and canceling matches.
You cannot delete a match from the individual Actions menu. You must use the checkbox selection and bulk actions to cancel matches.
Accessing Match Bulk Actions
1. Navigate to the Matches tab
2. Select the checkboxes on the left side of each match you want to modify
3. Once at least one checkbox is selected, the bulk actions menu appears at the top of the screen
Available Bulk Actions
Finish Match
Mark multiple matches as finished. This moves them to the Completed tab with a "Finished" status.
Abandon Match
Mark multiple matches as abandoned. This moves them to the Completed tab with an abandoned status.
Change Live Scorer
Reassign the live scorer for multiple matches at once. Select the matches, click Change Live Scorer, and choose the new scorer from the dropdown.
Cancel Match
Delete and archive matches that haven't started. This is the ONLY way to delete matches from your organization. Canceled matches are moved to the Completed tab and marked as "Cancelled".
IMPORTANT: Cancel Match only works for matches that haven't started. You cannot cancel a match that has already begun or been marked as finished.
How to Use Bulk Actions
1. From the Matches table, locate the matches you want to modify
2. Check the checkbox next to each match
3. The bulk actions menu appears at the top of the screen
4. Select the action you want to perform: Finish Match, Abandon Match, Change Live Scorer, or Cancel Match
5. Confirm the action when prompted
The action applies to all selected matches simultaneously.
Important Notes
* Individual match Actions menus do NOT include a delete option
* To delete a match, you MUST use the checkbox selection and Cancel Match bulk action
* Cancel Match only works on matches that haven't started
* Canceled matches are archived to the Completed tab with a "Cancelled" status
* You can select matches from different competitions and apply bulk actions to all of them at once
