Overview

Bitrate indicators show the health and status of your video stream connections in real-time. They appear on the Stream Monitoring page and help you verify that video is being received from your input and successfully delivered to your destinations.

Two types of bitrate indicators are displayed:

* Input bitrate indicator: Shows whether LIGR is receiving video from your camera or streaming software

* Destination bitrate indicator: Shows whether LIGR is successfully delivering video to each streaming platform

Input Bitrate Indicators

The input bitrate indicator shows the status of video coming into LIGR from your camera or encoder.

Warning icon: No stream is being received. Your camera or streaming software is not sending video to LIGR, or the connection has dropped.

Green with KBS value: Stream is being received. The KBS (kilobits per second) value shows the current data rate of the incoming video feed.

Destination Bitrate Indicators

Destination bitrate indicators show the status of video being sent from LIGR to each streaming platform (YouTube, custom RTMP endpoints, etc.).

Gray: Destination configured but not sending.

Yellow: Attempting to connect to destination.

Warning + Retry icon: Failed to connect. The system retries every approximately 20 seconds.

Red: Successfully connected and streaming to destination.

What Red Destination Indicators Mean

If a destination indicator is red, LIGR is successfully connected and streaming to that destination. The connection from LIGR to the platform is working correctly.

When destination indicators are red, troubleshooting should focus on the destination platform rather than LIGR configuration. Check:

* YouTube receiving settings

* Correct event selection on the platform

* Visibility settings (public/unlisted/private)

* Platform-specific stream key or credentials
