An Automated Game Plan lets LIGR Live trigger your graphics and playlists automatically during a match, based on match events recorded in the LiveScore App, so you can broadcast with minimal manual input.
What is an Automated Game Plan?
An Automated Game Plan is a set of rules attached to a match that decides which graphics and playlists play, and when. Once the match is live, the Game Plan listens for events (like kick-off, goals, or period changes) and fires the correct overlays into your video stream without an operator having to press anything.
This is different from Manual Mode, where every graphic is triggered by an operator in the Control Room.
Prerequisites
Before you run an Automated Game Plan, make sure you have:
• A Competition created with a Theme Instance assigned
• A Match created under that Competition, with both Teams set up
• A Game Plan configured for the Competition or Match
• The LiveScore App ready (or a Live Scorer assigned) to record Match Facts
• An Input connected so your video stream is reaching LIGR

Step 1: Open the Control Room
1. Go to the Matches section in your Organisation.
2. Find the match you want to run.
3. Click the Production Link to open the Control Room.
The Control Room is where the Automated Game Plan runs. You can leave it open to monitor output, even if you don't plan to trigger anything manually.

Step 2: Confirm the Game Plan is Loaded
In the Control Room, check that:
• The correct Game Plan name is shown
• The Automated Game Plan toggle or mode is active (not set to Manual Mode)
• All graphics listed in the Game Plan are showing as ready
If the Game Plan is missing, return to the Match settings and assign one before continuing.
Step 3: Start Your Stream
1. Start sending video from your encoder (OBS, vMix, or hardware) to the Input configured for this match.
2. Confirm the stream is live in the Streaming tab.
3. Check your Destination (YouTube, Facebook, or RTMP endpoint) is receiving the feed.
Step 4: Begin Scoring in the LiveScore App
The Automated Game Plan relies on Match Facts from the LiveScore App to know what to trigger.
1. Have your Live Scorer open the match in the LiveScore App.
2. Start the match in the app (e.g. kick-off).
3. Record events as they happen — goals, cards, substitutions, period changes.
As each Match Fact is captured, the Automated Game Plan will fire the matching graphic or playlist automatically.

Step 5: Monitor the Output
While the Game Plan runs itself, you should still watch the Control Room to:
• Confirm graphics are firing at the right moments
• Check the Scorebug is showing the correct score and time
• Keep an eye on the Sponsor Loop and any scheduled ad triggers
If something goes wrong, you can switch to Manual Mode at any time to take over.
Step 6: End the Match
1. In the LiveScore App, record the final whistle or end-of-match event.
2. The Game Plan will trigger any post-game playlists automatically.
3. Once playlists have finished, stop your stream from your encoder.
4. Close the Control Room.
After the match, you can review everything on the Review Page and create Highlights from tagged Moments.
Tips
• Test your Automated Game Plan with a practice match before going live, especially if it's a new Competition or Theme Instance.
• Share the Monitoring Link with colleagues who need to watch the graphics output without accidentally triggering anything.
• Keep the LiveScore App and Control Room on stable internet connections — dropped Match Facts can delay graphics.
• If a graphic doesn't look right, you can override with a manual trigger without leaving Automated mode.
Common Issues
• Graphics aren't firing: Check the Game Plan is assigned to the match and the Live Scorer is connected in the LiveScore App.
• Wrong Theme appearing: Confirm the correct Theme Instance is assigned to the Competition.
• Scorebug not updating: Verify Match Facts are being saved in the LiveScore App and the Input is still active.
• Automated Game Plan is greyed out: The match may be set to Manual Mode — toggle back to Automated in the Control Room.
• Pre-game playlist didn't play: The kick-off event in the LiveScore App may have been recorded before the playlist had time to start — begin the pre-game sequence earlier next time.
