Types of Officials and Staff
Depending on your Competition setup and sport, you may be able to add roles such as:
• Referees or umpires
• Assistant officials
• Team coaches
• Team managers
The exact roles available depend on how your Competition and Theme are configured.
How Officials and Staff Appear in Graphics
Once added, officials and staff data can be pulled into Graphics by your Theme. Common placements include:
• Lower thirds introducing the match referee
• Lineup cards listing coaches alongside the starting roster
• Pre-match Playlists announcing officiating crew
If your Theme Instance doesn't currently display this information, you may need to adjust the Theme in FUSE or contact your administrator.

Tips
• Add officials and staff before the Match starts so they appear correctly in pre-match Playlists.
• Double-check the spelling of names, as they appear exactly as entered in your broadcast graphics.
• If the same officials work multiple Matches, you'll need to enter their details on each Match individually.
• Review your Theme Instance in advance to confirm which official and staff fields are actually displayed on screen.
Common Issues
Officials don't appear in graphics during the Match Check that the Theme Instance assigned to your Competition includes graphic templates that display officials. If not, the data is stored but won't render on screen.
Staff names are cut off or formatted incorrectly This usually relates to the Graphic design in FUSE. Long names may need to be shortened or the Graphic template adjusted by a FUSE editor.
Fields for officials aren't visible in Match setup The available fields depend on your Competition configuration. If you can't find the section, confirm with your Admin or Owner that your Competition supports officials and staff entry.
