Combining Highlights from Multiple Matches

Written by Julian Rodrigues

Compilations in LIGR Live let you stitch together Highlights from one or more Matches into a single video that can be reviewed, shared, or downloaded.

What Is a Compilation?

A Compilation is a collection of Highlight clips combined into one continuous video. Unlike a single Highlight, which comes from one Match, a Compilation can pull clips from across multiple Matches, Competitions, or Teams. This makes it useful for:

• Round-up reels across a match day

• Season-long highlight packages

• Team or player showcase videos

• Sponsor or promotional content

Before You Start

Make sure you have:

• At least one Match Recording with Highlights already generated or manually created

• Access to the Multimedia tab in your Organisation

• The correct user permissions to create and export content

Creating a Compilation from Multiple Matches

You'll build a Compilation inside the Multimedia section of the left sidebar.

Step 1: Open the Compilations Section

1. In the left sidebar, click Multimedia.

2. Select the Compilations tab.

3. Click Create Compilation (or the equivalent new Compilation button).

Step 2: Name and Configure the Compilation

1. Give your Compilation a clear name, for example Round 5 Goals or Team of the Week.

2. Add any optional details such as description or thumbnail.

Step 3: Add Highlights from Different Matches

1. Browse the available Highlights list.

2. Use filters to narrow results by Competition, Team, or Match.

3. Select the Highlights you want to include — you can pick clips from any Match your Organisation has produced.

4. Add them to the Compilation.

Step 4: Arrange the Clip Order

1. Drag and drop clips into the order you want them to play.

2. Preview the sequence to check flow and pacing.

Step 5: Save and Render

1. Click Save to store the Compilation.

2. Render or export the Compilation into a single video file.

3. Wait for processing to complete — longer Compilations take more time.

Step 6: Share or Download

Once rendered, you can:

• Download the Compilation as a video file

• Share it directly from LIGR Live

• Return later and edit the clip list if needed

Tips

• Keep Compilations focused around a theme (a round, a player, a moment type) for better viewer engagement.

• Use consistent Highlight lengths across Matches so the final Compilation feels smooth.

• Rename Highlights clearly in the Highlights tab before building a Compilation — it makes selection much faster.

• Build Compilations soon after Matches finish, while Match Recordings and Moments are fresh in the library.

Common Issues

Highlights missing from the list: Confirm the source Match Recording has finished processing and that Highlights or Moments have been generated for it.

Compilation won't render: Check that every selected Highlight has a valid clip file. Re-add any Highlights that show errors.

Clips out of order: Compilations play in the order clips are arranged. Re-open the Compilation and adjust the sequence before rendering again.

Can't find a specific Match: Use the Competition and Team filters, or search by Match name to locate older Matches in your library.
