How to Create a Compilation

A Compilation in LIGR Live lets you stitch together multiple Highlight clips into a single video, either from one Match or across several Matches, so you can share longer-form content like weekly round-ups, team showreels, or season recaps.

Before You Start

Make sure you have the following ready:

• At least one completed Match with generated Highlights available in the Multimedia tab

• Permission to access the Multimedia section (Owner, Admin, User, or Media Viewer with edit rights)

• A clear idea of which Highlights you want to include and the order they should appear in

Accessing the Compilations Area

1. Log in to LIGR Live.

2. In the left sidebar, click Multimedia.

3. Select the Compilations tab.

Creating a New Compilation

Step 1: Start a New Compilation

1. From the Compilations tab, click the Create Compilation button.

2. Give your Compilation a clear title (for example, "Round 5 Top Moments" or "Team A Season Highlights").

Step 2: Add Highlights to the Compilation

1. Browse your available Highlights from the Multimedia library.

2. Select the Highlights you want to include. You can pull clips from:

• A single Match

• Multiple Matches across a Competition

• Different Competitions within your Organisation

Step 3: Arrange the Order

1. Drag and drop the selected Highlights into the order you want them to play.

2. Preview the sequence to check the flow before rendering.

Step 4: Render and Save

1. Once you're happy with the selection and order, confirm your Compilation.

2. LIGR will process and render the clips into a single video file.

3. The finished Compilation will appear in your Compilations list once rendering is complete.

Sharing and Downloading a Compilation

Once your Compilation is ready, you can:

• Play it back directly in the Multimedia tab

• Download the video file for use elsewhere

• Share it via the available sharing options

Tips

• Keep Compilations focused on a single theme (a specific team, round, or player) for the best viewer engagement.

• Trim or re-tag Moments in the source Match Recording before building your Compilation if a clip needs tightening.

• Use consistent naming conventions so Compilations are easy to find later.

• Render times depend on the number and length of Highlights included — longer Compilations take more time to process.

Common Issues

Highlights missing from the selection list: Make sure the source Match has finished streaming and that Highlights have been generated. Check the Highlights tab first.

Compilation stuck processing: Refresh the Compilations tab after a few minutes. Very large Compilations can take longer to render.

Clips appear in the wrong order: Return to the Compilation, re-arrange the Highlights, and re-render.

Audio or video quality inconsistencies: This usually reflects the source Match Recording quality. Check the original stream settings for the affected Matches.
