What is a Compilation?

Written by Julian Rodrigues
Updated today

A Compilation in LIGR Live is a single video created by stitching together multiple Highlight clips from one or more Matches, giving you a ready-to-share reel of key Moments.

Overview

Compilations live in the Multimedia tab in the left sidebar, alongside Highlights, Match Recordings, Images, and Videos. While a Highlight is a short clip tied to a single match event, a Compilation combines several of these clips into one continuous video.

Use Compilations when you want to:

• Combine the best Moments from a single Match into a highlight reel

• Pull together top plays across multiple Matches (for example, a round-up or season recap)

• Share a single video rather than multiple individual Highlights

• Create sponsor-friendly content by grouping related Moments

How Compilations Fit with Highlights and Moments

Understanding the relationship between these three content types helps you get the most out of your Multimedia library:

Moments are tagged points within a Match Recording (for example, a goal or card).

Highlights are short video clips generated from those Moments.

Compilations are collections of Highlights stitched together into one video.

In short: Moments feed into Highlights, and Highlights feed into Compilations.

Where to Find Compilations

1. Open the Multimedia tab from the left sidebar.

2. Select the Compilations section.

3. Browse your existing Compilations, or create a new one from available Highlights.

What You Can Do with a Compilation

Once a Compilation is created, you can:

• Review it in the Multimedia library

• Download the finished video file

• Share it with team members or external audiences

• Use it as promotional or recap content

Tips

• Give each Compilation a clear, descriptive title so it's easy to find later (for example, "Round 5 Top Goals").

• Keep Compilations focused — a tight, themed reel tends to perform better than a long, mixed one.

• Review the order of Highlights before finalising, as the sequence affects how the Compilation flows.

• Tag Moments consistently during Matches to make it easier to assemble Compilations afterwards.

Common Issues

No Highlights available to add: Compilations are built from Highlights, so you'll need at least one Highlight created from a Match Recording before you can build a Compilation.

Missing Moments in a Match: If key events weren't tagged during the Match (via the LiveScore App or manually), there will be fewer Highlights to choose from. Check your Match Facts on the Review Page.

Compilation not appearing: Refresh the Multimedia tab, and confirm the Compilation finished processing before expecting it in the list.
