What are Highlights, Moments, and Compilations?

Highlights, Moments, and Compilations are the three multimedia tools in LIGR Live that let you capture, tag, and share short video clips from your match recordings.

Understanding the Three Concepts

Each of these works together to help you turn a full match recording into shareable content. Here's how they differ.

Moments

A Moment is a short tagged clip within a match recording. Moments are the smallest building block — they mark a specific event or passage of play in the recording, such as a goal, a save, or a key play.

• Created from within a match recording

• Tied to a specific point in time in the match

• Used as the source material for Highlights and Compilations

Highlights

Highlights are video clips created from a match recording, either automatically or manually. A Highlight takes a Moment and turns it into a standalone clip that can be shared or reviewed on its own.

• Can be generated automatically based on match events

• Can also be created manually by an operator

• Each Highlight is a single clip

Compilations

A Compilation is a collection of Highlight clips stitched together into a single video. Compilations are useful for creating match summaries, player showreels, or sponsor-ready content.

• Combines multiple Highlights into one video

• Good for end-of-match recaps or weekly round-ups

• Produced as a single output video

How They Work Together

The workflow usually follows this order:

1. A match is recorded in LIGR Live.

2. Moments are tagged within the recording, either automatically from Match Facts or manually.

3. Highlights are generated from those Moments as individual clips.

4. A Compilation is built by selecting multiple Highlights and stitching them into one video.

When to Use Each

Use Moments when you want to tag key events during or after a match for later use.

Use Highlights when you need individual clips to share on social media or review with a team.

Use Compilations when you want a single polished video that brings multiple Highlights together.

Tips

• Tag Moments as soon as possible after a match while the events are fresh, or rely on Match Facts from the LiveScore App to generate them automatically.

• Review your Highlights before building a Compilation so the final video only includes your best clips.

• Keep Compilations focused — a tight selection of Highlights usually works better than including every clip.

Common Issues

No Moments appear after a match: Check that the match was recorded and that Match Facts were captured via the LiveScore App.

Highlights are missing expected clips: Confirm that Moments exist for those events. Highlights are built from Moments, so no Moment means no Highlight.

Compilation is empty or incomplete: Make sure the Highlights you want to include have finished processing before building the Compilation.
