The stream multiview provides users with a comprehensive view of all concurrently running streams. It enables users to monitor the status of their streams, ensuring an input feed is being received, verifying successful delivery to the destination (YouTube etc, if applicable), and confirming whether the overlay is active.

It is accessed by clicking the Streaming icon in the left hand navigation bar. Indicated by the red square in the image below.

Once selected, you will see an image like the one below, showcasing the current matches utilising the streaming functionality in LIGR.

Below each stream instance, you'll find several icons that indicate the status of various functions.

  • The user can verify if audio is being received by adjusting the volume control

  • On the bottom row, there are four icons on the left-hand side, each representing the following, from left to right:

    • The stream instance is LIVE and active

    • The graphics overlay instance is LIVE and in use

    • The input from your encoding software or hardware is being received

    • The stream is successfully being pushed to the final destination (e.g., YouTube, Facebook, etc., if applicable)

  • On the right side of the bottom row, you'll find a toggle to preview the incoming stream without the graphics overlay. Simply toggle the 'Input' switch

Different colours indicate the status of various functions, as outlined below.

To view the Stream Monitoring page of a specific match, simply click on the one of interest. A new browser window will open, displaying a screen similar to the image below.

This page provides the user with the following information:

Left hand side

  • Graphics delay - Should you need to put a delay on the time the graphics appear. NOTE: This appears as an option once the stream as been started.

  • Auto graphics - This indicates whether your match is in Auto or Manual Mode. NOTE: This appears as an option once the stream as been started.

  • Auto stream - This determines whether the stream will start automatically or manually. By enabling this setting, the stream will begin and end automatically according to the pre-set conditions at a specific time. Using automation settings ensure no unnecessary charges are incurred if the stream isn't stopped at the end of the match.

  • Stream input - The Stream URL of where the footage of the event is being received from. More than likely, but not limited too, an RTMP link and also the Stream Key.

  • Framerate.

  • Resolution.

  • Region - Pick a region that is as close to where you're based.

Right hand side

  • Stream destination - The Stream URL of where the footage of the event, including the overlaid graphics are being sent to, YouTube, Facebook etc and also the Stream Key.

Centre section

  • Input Stream - If a full-screen graphic with a background is displayed on the output, toggle this setting on and off to view the live feed from your encoding software or hardware. Additionally, users can check if audio is being received by adjusting the volume control.

  • A 'Hide Graphics' toggle is available to conceal the graphics on the stream, which can be useful if there is an issue. The name of the graphics overlay is also displayed; in the image above, it is labelled 'ITF'.
