Before we get started, let’s briefly look at the main differences between each link:

The Production Link is designed to be overlaid onto your primary production or program output, which is being broadcast out to your audience.

The Production Link can only be used ONCE at any given time to ensure the accuracy of the advertising analytics that LIGR collects for each match if using Graphics + Brands.

The user should only use the Production Link ONCE and that would be for your live event. If you get an error message saying that the link is IN USE, it means that your URL has been copied into another location, such as an inactive source within your switching software or the link is open within a web browser. There are steps to create a new Production Link that will be explained later on in this article.

If the user has copied the Production Link into a switching software and then tries to copy it into a web browser you will see the below image:

If the user has copied the Production Link into their preferred switching software more than once then the same information will appear in the top left of the output window.

To test or share your LIGR graphics output, utilize the Monitoring Link. This link can be employed multiple times within your switching software or easily copied and pasted into a web browser for convenience.

The user can access the Production & Monitoring Links by following the steps below:

  • Click Matches in the left hand side dashboard

  • Click the arrow situated to the left of the respective match, a drop down will appear

  • Click the ellipsis next to the match you wish you get the overlay link for

  • Select Links

  • Then select which link you would like to copy depending on if you’re using it for your live broadcast or for monitoring

If the user gets a message that the link is IN USE, they can create a new overlay which will generate a fresh Production Link. That can be done by following the steps below:

  • Click Matches in the left hand side dashboard

  • Click the arrow situated to the left of the respective match, a drop down will appear

  • Click the ellipsis next to the match you wish to reset the overlay link for

  • Select Settings

  • On the following screen, click the refresh button, and you'll receive a confirmation message indicating that the Overlay Key has been updated

Congratulations! You've successfully generated a new Production Link ready for use in your production.
