Animations and edges are the finishing touches on your theme. Animations adds a moving detail to your graphics, and Edges sets the trim around them. Like style, colour, texture and font, both apply to every graphic in the theme.

Before you start
Open a theme from Themes > Theme Management so you're in the theme editor on the GRAPHICS & STYLES tab. See Find a theme.
Make sure Theme is selected at the top of the right panel, not Graphic. Theme settings change every graphic at once.
It helps to set your style, colour, texture and font first. Animations and edges are easier to judge once the rest of the look is in place.
Choose an animation
In the right panel, open Animations.
Pick an option. The choices are Circle, Diamond, Dots, Line, Plus and None.
Watch the preview in the middle of the screen. For example, Diamond adds small diamonds that run along the edges of the graphic.
The animation is a moving detail that plays as part of the graphic. It adds energy without changing the layout, colours or text. If you want a cleaner, calmer look, choose None.
Choose an edge
Open Edges.
Pick an option. The choices are Dashes, Dots, Gold, Silver and No Edges.
Check the preview. The edge is the trim that runs around each graphic.
Gold and Silver give a premium, polished finish that works well for finals and showcase matches. Dashes and Dots add a lighter, sportier trim. No Edges leaves the graphic clean, which suits busy textures or bold colours.
Replay the animation
Below the preview, click REPLAY ANIMATION.
Watch the graphic come in from the start, with all your latest changes.
Repeat after each change you make, so you can compare options side by side.
If you'd rather not keep clicking, tick Loop Animation and the preview plays over and over while you try different settings. Untick it when you're done.
Check every graphic
Animations and edges apply to the whole theme, but they can look different on each graphic. A detail that suits a wide lower third may feel busy on a small scorebug. Click through the graphics list on the left, such as Lower Third, Match ID, Scorebug, Team Lists and Match Stats, and replay each one.
Tips and common mistakes
Keep it readable. Your viewers need to read scores and names quickly. If an animation draws the eye away from the text, try a simpler one or None.
Match the edge to the colour. Gold edges pair naturally with darker colours like Black And Gold or Navy. Check how your edge looks against your chosen colour before you settle.
Changes aren't saved yet. You'll see Unsaved changes until you save the theme profile. Nothing is kept until you create it. See Save your theme profile.
Want one graphic to differ? Animations and edges are set for the whole theme here. To change the size, position or look of just one graphic, see Style a single graphic.
