Overview

Pre-game and post-game playlists are automated sequences that run before and after your match. Pre-game playlists typically display team lineups, match preview graphics, sponsor advertisements, and countdown timers. Post-game playlists trigger when the match ends and show final scores, match summaries, player of the match graphics, and post-game sponsor ads.

You'll use pre-game playlists to build anticipation and provide context before kickoff, and post-game playlists to deliver match results and key statistics after the final whistle.

Prerequisites

* Access to the LIGR Automation platform

* A game plan with configured Pre-Game and Post-Game sections

* Pre-game graphics (lineups, team sheets, countdown) designed in FUSE

* Post-game graphics (final score, summary, player of the match) designed in FUSE

How to Configure Pre-Game Playlists

1. Open your game plan in the Automation editor

2. Navigate to the Pre-Game section

3. Add team lineup graphics to the playlist by clicking Add Item to Sequence

4. Include match preview graphics showing statistics like head-to-head record, league position, and recent form

5. Add sponsor graphics to rotate during the pre-game period

6. Set the rotation interval and order for sponsor ads

7. Configure the playlist to loop until match start

The team lineup graphic automatically pulls lineup data from the match configuration. Pre-game playlists run before the match starts and loop their content until kickoff.

How to Configure Post-Game Playlists

1. Navigate to the Post-Game section of your game plan

2. Add the final score graphic as the first item

3. Include match summary statistics graphics

4. Add player of the match graphic if applicable

5. Configure post-game sponsor ads

6. Set appropriate display durations for each item

The post-game playlist triggers automatically when the match ends. Unlike pre-game playlists which loop, post-game playlists typically play through their sequence once.

Setting Timing and Transitions

1. Configure how long each graphic displays in the playlist

2. Set transition timing between items

3. For pre-game playlists, configure looping behavior to repeat content until match start

4. For post-game playlists, put the most important items first as the playlist plays through once

5. Adjust timing to create a professional presentation flow

Pre-game graphics typically loop continuously, while post-game items display in sequence with the final score and key statistics appearing first.

Testing Your Game Plan

1. Preview the complete game plan from pre-game through to post-game

2. Verify the pre-game playlist runs and loops correctly

3. Confirm the live section triggers when the match starts

4. Check that the post-game playlist activates when the match ends

5. Test the transition from pre-game to live gameplay to ensure there's no gap or overlap

Tips

* Pre-game playlists loop their content until the match kicks off — configure looping behavior appropriately

* Post-game playlists play through once — put the most important items (final score, key stats) first

* Pre-game is prime advertising time as viewers are tuning in early with no gameplay to compete for attention

* Include a countdown-to-kickoff graphic in the pre-game playlist to keep viewers engaged

* Total pre-game and post-game sequences typically run 8-15 seconds per item
