Overview
In-graphic ads are advertisements embedded within your broadcast graphics — such as sponsor logos on scoreboards or ad banners within lower-thirds. These ads appear as part of the graphic itself in specific regions defined in your FUSE graphic design. This guide explains how to configure in-graphic ad slots within your game plan, assign specific ads from your organisation, and delegate ad slots to home and away clubs.
This applies to organisations using Rive themes. For organisations using inbuilt themes, ad allocation is managed through the Ads section rather than within game plans.
Prerequisites
* Access to the LIGR Automation platform
* A game plan with graphics that include ad placement areas
* Ad creatives uploaded to your organisation or club accounts
* Graphics with defined ad slots (e.g., 1000×200, 500×250 ad areas)
How In-Graphic Ads Work
In-graphic ads are defined as specific regions within your FUSE graphic design. Common ad slot sizes include 1000×200 for full-width banners, 500×250 for half-width placements, and 1000×100 for thin banner strips. When you configure an ad slot in your game plan, you can either assign a specific ad creative from your organisation's library or delegate the slot to the home or away club.
When you delegate an ad slot to a club, that club manages their own sponsor content through the Club Portal. The club's assigned ad automatically appears for their matches without any action required from you.
Setting Up In-Graphic Ads
1. Navigate to the Automation section and open the game plan you want to add in-graphic ads to.
2. Locate the graphics that contain ad placement areas. These are defined in the FUSE graphic design as specific regions where ad images will be displayed.
3. Click on an ad slot to open the ad assignment panel.
4. To assign a specific ad from your organisation's library, select the ad creative from the dropdown. This is useful for league-wide sponsors.
5. To delegate an ad slot to a club, select Home Club or Away Club instead of a specific ad. The club will upload and manage their ad set through the Club Portal.
6. Use the game plan preview to verify that ads appear correctly within the graphics. Check positioning, sizing, and that the correct ads are displayed for both organisation-assigned and club-delegated slots.
Common Ad Slot Sizes
Standard in-graphic ad sizes include:
* 1000×200 pixels: Full-width banner placements
* 500×250 pixels: Half-width sidebar placements
* 1000×100 pixels: Thin banner strips
Organisation Ads vs Club-Delegated Ads
You can assign specific ads from your organisation's library for league-wide sponsors that should appear across all matches. Alternatively, you can delegate ad slots to the home or away club, allowing each club to manage their own sponsor ads through the Club Portal.
When an ad slot is delegated to a club, the club must upload their ad set through the Club Portal and assign it to the delegated slot. If the club has not uploaded an ad set, the slot will be empty during the broadcast.
Organisation-level ads override club-delegated ads if both are assigned to the same slot.
